What's new

What characters from injustice and mk9 do you hate with a passion??

Scott The Scot

Where there is smoke, there is cancer.
From memory:
Kitana
Sektor
Mileena
Cyrax
Kabal? Not sure since you've picked him up now lol
Kenshi :DOGE
CSZ (interrupting your strings all day yeeeeaaahhhh)
Kung Lao
Ermac?
Reptile
Kano
aaaaaaaaand Baraka
Spot on, apart from Kabal, I've never had a problem with him, since I'm the kabal killer with sub Zero lololo

Lets not forget Jade, because she's broken and op and has way too much damage/resets.

Koor

Hot Gyahbage
From MK9: Everyone who wasnt Sheeva.....because she was my main T_T

From Injustice: Superman. To this day, i still fear him more than any other character. I think his pre-nerf F23 caused that trauma.

Sinestro players who are laggy. Hard enough dealing with the match up as Lex as it is. I dislike fighting Shazam as Bane since he has a get out of pressure free wake up, meaning you spend the match hitting him with double punches and maybe an uppercut while your venom runs out and you never get to do a damaging combo. In general any character I lack match up knowledge against (Hawkgirl, MMH, WW, Grundy, Nightwing, Sinestro, Raven).

Although I do appreciate the opportunity to learn from those fights.

Levaranoia

War God
Injustice: deathstroke, green lantern, superman, lex, lobo, bane, mmh
Mk: kano, kung lao, quan chi, kabal, mileena

aldazo

Waiting for Havik
The only one I truly hate was Kenshi in MK9, but that was because of Pig, I like his concept & design though.

AZ MotherBrain

If you believe enough, -7 could be +7
Cyrax; one net, pack it up
Kabal; because Kabal
Kenshi; because Kenshi
MMH; everything
Dooms; D1~chop
GL; still getting exposed by B1

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
All that is why I quit. I don't understand how a game that's so broken remained so popular.
Below is my huge MVC rant. Click if you want some offtopic thoughts from me on that MVC3 mess...
I stuck around due to hype factor of it returning through Vanilla even though there was no OTG for half the cast mitigating most teams into using very particular rosters...most utilizing Wesker low shot for much needed extensions. Most common played were Phoenix, Wesker and Dante...often together. Plus it had the problem of lvl 1 x-factor Divekick Wolvy showing he could run a whole team solo. Vanilla X-factor was pretty busted...

I had hoped for balance and when I saw the whole cast gaining OTGs I was extremely happy as it opened up team structure. Seeing the removal of invincibility for assists like Haggar Lariat and Bonne Flame were also much needed balancers...then I saw them Buff Wesker, Add a more Broken Dante style pixie with huge poke range with Vergil, not really fix Xfactor so much as just make it less noticeably busted in the hands of some while allowing it to remain just as busted for the majority of the roster's problems, and throw in TAC tools that I could see were busted on top of throwing around the sort of buffs that I knew would lead to "Doom's Day".

I left a game that I had waited my whole life to see Iron Fist enter a mere 3 months from him joining its lineup. He simply had not been designed for the game he was entering...and most of the cast could say the same. Their tools were not balanced for the setup they had.

The game was hype because of its history and the Marvel License pairing with many Capcom characters folks had wanted to see in its roster for a long while on wish lists. Problem is MVC2 had small combos, less teleports, no X-factor, no TAC shenanigans, better Meter balancing, assists were vulnerable in different manners in MVC2 thus making a lot of the setups in MVC3 something you really couldn't get away with in MVC2, and you could actually get good damage on small combos. Its failing was in making 3 characters FAR too mobile for its setup given that Mags, Storm and Sentinel had not only flight but the ability to 8 way dash and use that flight to cancel and extend combos to create loops the rest of the cast couldn't touch. Throw in Sentinel's armor and the meter gain such loops gave your team to spam Super till death and thats the end of the balance MVC2 had. Only other thing that ever came so close as team "10 more years" to busting it were ridiculous zoning teams setups...Spiral teams and Cable stuff were pretty devastating for awhile till the rest of the busted stuff with those 3 were perfected.

If Marvel 3 had utilized a system like Marvel 2 and not incorporated all the "comeback factors" and "combo extending tools" , alongside of LEARNING from its mistakes on what tools will run wild on a roster (cough excessive lockdown assists cough excessive mobility for mixup specialists with good damage cough cough fast fucking teleports on fast fucking characters cough cough) then it would have been a better game.

/rant

Marvel was a mess. It was just flashy and loud as fuck and ANY pick 3 roster in a fighting game is something that is super attractive because team building based on assists and order takes games to ridiculous levels of structure and customization. It had the things to make it exciting, but it more than had enough to burn people and make them salty every time they played unless they resorted to following the very very isolated top teams lists.

as for Injustice, I hope most of the cast returns from MK9 I think a large part of what made it such a success is that it wasn't throwing away the cast that people loved and wanted more of. Its okay to add and change lineups, but starting from nearly scratch just removes what brought you a fanbase...its a pretty big bait and switch to pick up an MK and find you don't know who most of the roster is. Who do I hate? No one...thats what makes it hard to see its rich roster possibly get replaced. Some will likely return, but I gotta say during the days after Deadly Alliance I started looking at MK games and I couldn't tell what the hell I was playing anymore. I didn't have any attachment to any of them.

Mortal Kombat:

Kabal - why do you think? Not worth the time or effort.

Nightwolf/Kano/Baraka - every one of these that I've fought have caught me off guard because of their fast as fuck charge moves. Annoys the shit out of me.

Noob - nothing but clones and the same set-up I can't get out of 50% of the time because Recovery or Wake-Up attacks don't come out when I want them to.

Injustice: (Fuck this game in general)

Superman - f2 3 and lasers for days, just a bullshit character to fight against.

Batman - j2 for days, another bullshit character to fight.

Deathstroke - nothing but guns, j3 and sword flips.

Sinestro - nothing but lemons.

Batgirl - why do you think? Not worth the time or effort.

Scorpion - never come across a player that didn't do nothing but spam teleport. In a game were you have to move back to block, just too annoying to deal or bother with.

SkaGoogle

Tailgates & Tan-lines !
Mk9: Cyrax, we already know why
INJGAU: the lack of the most annoying character in this fucking game is quite odd. BLACK ADAM, I hate this character so much, words cannot even describe. Like I have no problem fighting a mmh or a scorpion even though those aren't matchups in my favor, but that fucker black adam. omg LAWD don't get me started.

About CW:

Her f3/b3 are so ridiculous too...16f overhead that can be armored, or a 29f move that evades just about everything, AND CREATES A MIXUP ON BLOCK. Just fuck her...no invincible wake ups, but if she delays her wake ups, now you're fucked, and trait IS invincible.
LOL no and no.
B3 is negative there's no reason you should get out d1ed by a 7fr d1. Her only options are a ~10fr d1(lol), MBf3(LOL), or a point blank catdash to scoop the backdash(LOL again)

And wtf? You play Wonder Woman... Nj3 all day. Afraid of MB catdash? WW 33 and b2 some of the best WU stuffers in da game.

Edit: I don't mean to blow u up Akro, u would destroy me. Just bein real and as u can see I too am salty in the the WW/CW MU just from the other perspective.

Rabbit

thugs bunny
who let the scrubs out woof woof woof

heres how to beat kung lao: crouch block

you win
Yeah, just sit there get hit by overheads, chipped out and thrown. Great advice.

FYI, blocking while you are crouched makes your hitbox bigger. Would of made a little more sense to tell people to use d3

KL overheads are slow and reactable. D3 is great too.

How is Catwoman "random", @Peckapowa? That comment makes roughly 0.0% sense
her back 3, randomly makes tons shit whiff, i have to wait for her random mb cat dashes all day and thats pretty much it. i play a friend online who has a penchant for tossing out random b3s in stupid situations and it randomly working, i'll dash up to her in zods trait and he'll throw a non mb one out and my slash and f2 both whiff...

its another one of those chars i effectively keep out but get hit rnadomly by and then get vortexed by

I named my dick Grayson
There's two characters that piss the ever living shit out of me: Batgirl and Killer Frost.

Batgirl is pretty self explanatory, vortex bullshit, safe smoke bomb on whiff, yada yada.

Now the only reason why I can't stand KF; slide. I fucking hate that slide! Especially online where everything that's -10 or less is basically a frame trap...

Braindead

I want Kronika to step on my face
Fucking Black Adam and Birdy Lao.
Safe Divekicks drive me insane and make me HELLAAAAAA SALLTTYYYY!!!
