No, a TYM ranking would be in fact unbiased. Because the only way to make a legit list is to base it on numbers.

Sounds like people want a TYM system based off of the NFG system with a few tweaks here and there such as more points for top 16 placements and making some "minors" become "majors" etc etc..

The problem with weighing the events wont go away, look how people say FV isnt a major and those pts got stripped... Same would most likely happen on TYM, well maybe.. who knows.

Sure, but discrediting players instead of discrediting the system is where things go wrong. Guess there's always going to be people that say offensive shit just to say offensive shit.

Either way, this ranking system doesn't even apply to our tournaments. Until we start seeding with the nfg list, this is more of a "round about" list and not as accurate as it could be.

Oh I agree, I think there's a time when hype just turns into boring drama. Really getting sick of the REO, Brady and PL threads bashing each other for instance.

As it stands the NFG ranking system by and large doesn't impress anyone. It just needs tweeking. If NRG wont do that, having our own unofficial system would be good and who knows, in time NFG might think it's good as well.

It's important that everyone agrees to whatever system is put in place and yeah, not everyone will be pleased, but im sure something fair based on a point system that recognises attendance and placing's is something that everyone should be on board for.

This discussion has no place in this thread, but I do have to say those 3-4 monitors were a legitimate issue. Thank god my laggy match was against a CSZ player lol. I was having tons of problems.

The whole tournament I said I didn't want to make excuses. I brought up the fact that I wasn't used to the monitors, I didn't bitch about it. I also followed up and said I was going to buy one as soon as I can because I felt like I could have done better. What did I do afterwards? Sit at my station for hours so I can play on the monitor more.

I praised the guy who put me into losers. I won the first match then he switched to scorpion. He said it was luck. I told him that it wasnt* luck; It was a good move on his part and he outplayed me. I told him I didn't know the scorpion match up and would like to play him more.

I even said I accepted the losses for what it is and will learn from it.

How is that making excuses? Like I said before, I'm stating my problems and fixing them. No one else has gave me shit but you. Instead of others giving me shit about things, they gave me positive feedback and advice on what would be the best for me to do.

The night of the friday meet up tricky told me that before him and everyone else pretty much abused the fact that I was going to mess up my pressure so they waited for that. He even said that he can't do that now. What have I said while I got up to that point. I said my execution was terrible and once I got it down, I would be better in matches. I practiced, practiced and practiced even more until I got it. Not excuses, stating the problems and fixing it.
