Mortal Kombat X New Kombatants in Action - Kombat Pack 2 Gameplay Trailer

Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed a closer look at the brand-new characters and content coming to Mortal Kombat X in Kombat Pack 2, the game’s next wave of downloadable content. The Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 Gameplay Trailer showcases the Kombatants being introduced to the game’s playable roster in 2016 including the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface, Triborg and Bo’ Rai Cho.

Players who purchase Kombat Pack 2 will also receive the never-before-released Apocalypse Pack, as well as the following content for Mortal Kombat X:

• Goro - The feral, four-armed Shokan warrior will be available as a playable combatant.

• Apocalypse Pack - The Apocalypse Pack features three new character skins, reimagining characters Takeda, D’Vorah and Erron Black with an apocalyptic theme.

• Brazil Pack - The Brazil Pack features three new character skins: Futbol Cage, Capoeira Liu Kang and Gaucho Kung Lao.

• Kold War Pack - The Kold War Pack includes three new character skins: Motherland Sonya, Tundra Sub-Zero and Revolution Kano.

• Kold War Scorpion - Kold War-themed Scorpion character skin.

Now onto the skins: Why the hell is a free Scorpion skin even being mentioned in the trailer? Why are they even giving us old skins again for each character? This is all very "wrap up bundle" but it doesn't really look appealing. I wonder if that means KW and Brazil didn't sell as well as they (incorrectly) thought they would...

Maybe the other newbs will get a free skin per patch. Like a non themed version taken from rejected concept art.

That's actually not a bad idea. Knowing NRS though, it'll most likely be palette swaps again, or nothing at all.

Yeah, saying a free skin is part of the pack as if it's even worth mentioning, like wtf, everyone has it already. I guess that's it, ripped slightly improved stage from MK9, mocking skins up as if they're really building up kontent in the pack, 2 more guests to sell and kharacters that still have one skin only... That's it for Kombat Packs, this should be the last. Let's go to MKX2/MKXI already, cause NRS is probably not in the mood to put more effort into this game.

Already happy for Bo, Cyber Smoke and the Apocalyptic pack.

Shadow Orchid hype here too! Glad IG considered only females for the next shadow addition, raising drastically the probabilities for her inclusion instead of Fulgore or anyone else.

Aside from Erron, D'Vorah's costume is pretty nice too, both of them had extremely poor alternates.

Dude, Alien looks so awesome in this trailer and I'm super hyped that there is a Queen variation with Egg/Face Hugger Traps! I'm also really impressed with how good Triborg looks and I'm really interested to see how different Triborg's variations will be. Like if they end up being legit different characters as in each one has everything that represented character had and did in previous MK titles.

The end of the trailer kind of implies Triborg will come out first so it feels like too perfect a coincidence for that not to be the case
