I'm not trying to be a party pooper, this is cute and all, but I actually hope this is a troll thread. Because if it's not, the implication is that on a site devoted to sharing tech/strats, a community leader is playing a guessing game when he could just be telling us who he thinks is the top-tier and why.

People seem to think it's Aquaman or Lex? I really don't think Lex is #1 unless there's some balls tech REO isn't sharing with us. Aquaman makes sense, and I've seen plenty of people on TYM say they think he's top 3 if not top 1. Of these two I actually hope it's Lex because that would actually be interesting.

Even if REO had some specific character in mind (not entirely sold on the idea that he did/does), realistically his first post might wind up applying to a handful of characters. The patch is going to throw everything up in the air anyways, but I think people already basically know there's other characters waiting in the wings if Superman and Adam get knocked off the popularity roost - arguably more important than getting pushed majorly off the top of the tier list anyways.

I suspect the real point of this thread was to try and drive people away from the endless Superman fixation that plagues this community right now and think about the many other powerful options available, especially ones that may be seeing their tiny handful of matchup issues vanish in the patch.
