What does dying in story mode have to do with being playable? By that logic like half of the cast shouldn't have been playable in MK9.

We need more than just one unlockable. When I play I want to unlock characters, that's way better than skins or shit.

In all honesty I'd be happy if it was either Baraka or Fujin.

Granted we haven't seen much of Rain, but I doubt he's playable.

But hell, at this point, the unlockable could be anybody.
