Question - Erron Black ERRON BLACK CROW BRUTALITY?!?!?!(Down+Stance Switch+Block+3)

How do you know there are tons of brutalities left to find? Did a developer say so?
Yeah a dev said back when tremor came out everyone has at least 7, i'm not sure if these added things were a part of that but that's a thing.

*insert kotal kahn gibberish here*
JamesMK was telling me about this at NEC. Apparently there are several brutalities within brutalities in the game

eh, the problem with these is that there are way too many random combinations of inputs and requirements for us to ever really be able to lab them like we did toasty boosts

cool to see them, but none of us are ever going to accidentally figure out how to do them, so it really isn't that interesting

we basically just have to wait for the people who were told how to do these to leak the inputs

Well to set record straight I did tell Check to do MK2 friendships and babalities, for toasty boosts. I mean is this generation that lazy now. Get 2 work, there is so much more goodies to find.. Can you say baby Goro

As I recall though, Toasty Boosts were openly shared.

I recall someone here on TYM making a thread and working to discover them all and sharing as they were confirmed.
Of course just as this one is opening up. However there were a few people who already knew of the toasty boosts way before it was shared. Its nice to see people trying to figure these out on their own. It feels like the 90s all over again

It's not that I'm lazy... it's because I have other things to do outside of grinding, searching for a random combination of inputs. I'll have to wait for one of these suckers to post it.

Just tell me, do all the DLC characters also have secret brutalities?

James..... we are talking about selfie taking, 2000's kids here... of COURSE most of them are too lazy to find out these things on their own..... this is the "DLC Generation"..... they know nothing of finding things on their own or earning in game content..... sad really.

Well considering the few "between the lines" hints so far. Like Kitana Prime saying there is more "like this" meaning brutalities inside of brutalites. And SonicFox calling out the idiot a few pages back saying he's completely off and you can do this with every variation. Lastly james saying there is a ton more of these that we haven't seen, I'm going to deduce that this is a hidden input at the victory pose (when the text comes across the screen saying "ERRON BLACK WINS").

We know that NRS mostly likes 3 directional inputs followed by a button input, so I'd start testing all those first.

So. Time to get to work TYM, start grabbing your least favorite character and hammering through the possibilities watching them die repeatedly. If its none of these, time to move onto 4 inputs I guess lol.

what if there is a specific time window or there are more than 3 directional inputs. Its impossible to figure out like that

So trying 256 very plausible inputs is impossible? We have very different definitions of the word.
I didnt say 256 combinations are impossible to try, but you have a very different definition for combinations, hence there are actually like 100000000 and not 256. Anyway good luck .

Man I want to find these so bad but there are just way too many possibilities without any hints. Some of them are variation specific too I bet so you could spend hours looking for one for a character but that variation doesn't even have one.

Append the fact that it can end in another direction, not an input, as well as it being able to be 4 directional inputs followed by a button and/or 5th directional input and its still only 2560 combinations lol. Do it in brutality combat 2 player and suddenly you eliminate any amount of special attack hitting/button pressing requirement. Lastly, if you really wanted to, you can consider 3 time windows, start of brutality, middle of brutality, end pose. 7680 total. Thats still pretty off your 100 million combinations and still very far from what I'd say is impossible when you have a site with 111 members currently active and a subreddit with 54 currently active users at this given minute all curious about the same thing.

People don't like to work anymore for cool things lol. They just want it given on a silver platter

So you suggest you have worked out the amount of combinations
You cant be serious now...

Of course just as this one is opening up. However there were a few people who already knew of the toasty boosts way before it was shared. Its nice to see people trying to figure these out on their own. It feels like the 90s all over again
Ah, I didn't know they were known prior to the searching and discovery.

And yes I agree, as another old-schooler, it is nice to see people trying to figure it out!

Didn't past generations search through Code Magazines & Booklets or scour the Internet for Fatality inputs for the older titles? When you wanted to know a secret, many game magazines had them published. I don't really see much of a difference between what people did then vs what they're doing now.

Minus the obvious paid DLC.
As a member of said past generation, things were discovered in a few ways:

1) Experimentation
2) Word of mouth
3) Game magazines

For the first two games in the franchise, the internet was not a thing. For Mortal Kombat 3, Kombat Kodes were provided by Midway all over the place, but not always the full code as I recall. Sometimes you still had to piece things together.
