they said the rest would probably be on kombatnetwork I believe, but I think they said that about top 16, not anything about more pools.

Because they are using paper brackets, not challonge.

I think its actually pretty smart considering challonge requires the internet and god knows how many times the internet at majors has crashed lol.

Sorry but registering on site needs it on pool off stream to qualify to get into the tourney

this forum always has people say it's a "blowup" when this sort of thing happens, but it's an inevitable fact of life in double-elimination tournaments. if you have an odd number of top players, there's no way around unbalanced pools.

obligatory reminder that double-elim is only accurate for top 2, not top 8~
