So we have a few new characters MKX. In the past, each main series game has had people who have "fallen off the roster" and only return in full roster games (like MKA / MK9). Which new characters do you feel should go the way of Hsu Hao / Jarek etc and never be seen again in a future MK game and why???

Oh, and before someone says it... Yes, I know Tremor was in the reject game that 2 people bought in the past, but it is his first main series game.

Also, Predator and Jason are guests, so they have not been added.

Man all the new characters were pretty cool. Kung Jin is the only one I wanna see gone. Not because hes gay but hes just so annoying to fight. But all the new faces have cool backgrounds and great designs. So I wouldnt mind seeing Kung Jin again tbh. Now characters that should stay in the past are

Oh yes, and for me it is…

Erron Black – Sticks out like a sore thumb in the roster, looks cheesy and has no story line at all. The most “Un-Mortal Kombat” character in the game

Jaqui – Boring with lazy character design – I think she was developed late in the character design process. She should have been much better than this

Takeda – Completely generic looking and uninteresting

It almost feels like these characters were simply used to fill the roster

Yes I know that Takeda is a main character in the comic... does not stop him from being a boring character design in the game. Drawings in comics often do not translate well in to video graphics

I feel like you can't get rid of one of the new kids without getting rid of all of them. If they really made them all unique characters beyond their basic stand out trait and not giving them such ridiculously bland outfits, they could actually stand out on their own.

Yeah I'm also leaning towards F/T. I give credit to NRS for thinking outside the box with F/T and applaud where they were trying to go but at the end of the day I'd rather have had Smoke or Kabal in their place.

Jacqui and Cassie I could do without too. Just not interesting story lines to me. I was never a big Cage/Blade fan so I guess that is where that comes from but Jacqui...gloves though? Jax is way too original to try and follow suit IMO.

I just feel that some characters that didn't make the playable cut in favor of these folk would have been more enjoyable.

Wow, you guys are executing characters already...

Never see Jacqui again, lol. We never got to see her to begin with. Not the characters fault that she has certain disadvantages that drive people away from her, and that some of the best VO's in the game have been linked to moves which if you play her, you know not to use these moves. With a couple little tweaks and her over ten VO's set to the non meter burned version of her combo ender [Reg. BF4], this character would be super hype.

Fuckin bullshit! Oh well... looks like she'll be joining Mokap in time. Never allowed to live.

D'Vorah is like the sickest new character in the game. Do me a favor guys, don't kill her too... thanks.

Ferra/Torr is tricky because while the fighting style and unique design is there, the character just seems....forgettable both from a casual and competitive standpoint i.e. story role could have been interchanged with any random NPC brute and it wouldn't have changed anything for them for example. I don't want them to never come back, I like the idea of them, but the way they were done hurts their chances I think.


The new kids/descendants of classic characters are essentially shoe ins to return because of story direction and what not anyway, but this is a good thing because Jacqui could use some work, like some serious work to redeem her lol. I really wanna care about and like Jacqui cause I really like Jax.

I voted "no" on proposition FerraTorr, but this is actually probably true. F/T is just a brute character when there was a really good opportunity to give them a hybrid sort of skill set, with quick attacks from Ferra but heavier launchers from Torr. Instead the whole character is just the most generic "brute" character out of the last 3 games combined, I don't know if that appeals to anyone but Goro seems to fill that niche much better

I don't wanna see Jacqui gone at all, I want to see her redesigned. A lot of wasted potential there.

Her character in the story, personality, that crappy movelist, a complete overhaul. She should definitely stay though.

Erron Black is the worst imo. Random cowboy guy in Outworld helping out just because. Really? No.

Erron Black is the dopest new character in the game. His design is sweet and his dry humor personality produces some of the funniest lines in the game. Who the hell doesnt want him back? Gun wielding cowboy, whats not to like? 6 votes already, i feel like I'm taking crazy pills
