Why 50/50 should never be used in tournaments

By the way, no Mortal Kombat DLC was allowed at Evolution 2012 even though Skarlet was released a month prior to the tournament.

FUCK YES!!!!!!!!! this is what I suggested the first time this was brought up and think its perfect AND fair. They will have to agree that they are not doing a button check when they go in and there is no way to "cheat" it.

Personally, i wouldn't even mind getting rid of interactables bcuz it'd make fights more clean, but since every game is different, i dnt mind them at all. Over time, I feel we will find a legit answer to things like the drones on rooftop metropolis, and GGA Dizzy, I have to agree, random stage is just a better and more effective way to do things. 50/50 alot of times gives someone a really solid chance of getting the stage they want twice. I feel letting the loser counterpick stage after losing would be fair. As far as transitons go, they scale hella damage, so they are fine.

You can do buttons in char select screen. Or just rematch on the stage you did buttons checks. Or if theres a issue. Go back to menu and back into versus and it randoms again.

I think both players get ti decide weather they want random or 50/50. If they cant agree. Random gets the priority.

I came in here to post just that, mr wizard

Make the random choice done by Player 2. The moment they press X during Stage Select it will highlight a random stage. Then both players agree to that stage. This makes sense to me.
