So you suggest you have worked out the amount of combinations
You cant be serious now...
I'm a software dev by trade so I just wrote a script to find out the above combinations lol. I just added in the extra couple options you brought up and voila, thats the number.

Last number is the number of total combos it iterated through. This really isn't as complex as you think it is lol. Multiply it by 3 for the time windows.

Anyways. My point for doing that is to show that no, this isn't "impossible" by any means. Its perfectly reasonable that if you want to learn how to do this, you can use the evidence from the video along with combinations and muscle it. Or you can just sit around and complain how people that do know this aren't sharing.

Well, we don't know for sure if it's an input after the brutality, or a requirement in game, so we might just be wasting time trying all of these inputs.

All I have on this is that Sonic says "It's an input" after he does it. So I AM ASSUMING that there aren't any midmatch requirements. I've tried every damn input out there so I'm just gonna assume the only way to do it is to be Sonicfox.

Waayyy to many possibilities here.
-How much meter?
-what inputs?
-how much health?
-what stage?
-what position on stage?
-How many special moves in a match
-What variation?
- Does it require usong alternative colors?
-Do you have to be in KOTH?
-Is it character specific?
-Does a particular dialogue need to happen in the intro?
-Do you need all of the krypt unlocked?
-Did you have to beat the story?
-Did you have to beat hard ladder with said character?
-Do you need a specific background on your playercard?
-Do you have to hold a button or buttons?
-Does it require your opponent to meet some requirements?
-Did your faction have to win this week?
-Do you have to enhance specific special moves? How any times?
-Can not block?
-Do you need a flawless? A double flawless?

The list goes on and on..

Half the posters bitching about how egotistic the 2 people are who know the secret ingredients to Coke.

Other half defending them and saying it's more fun if people discover it on their own.

I don't play Erron Black so I give no shits about that. I just wonder if Ferra/Torr has a secret like that. Maybe Ferra goes and plucks out the eyeballs or something.

Can we stop this "I don't want to share it shit" when it comes to things that aren't tech... I mean you don't get bonus points for finding a secret and hiding it people ¬_¬ it's not like anyone else knowing it will make you lose.
What?

Why shouldn't he keep things like this a secret? I don't know, maybe the people asking for it, are the people who will play Dark Souls with a wiki guide beside them on their computer.

No fun.

Problem is, you're assuming that it's a 5 button input, it could be any amount of buttons in any order, or even holding down a button. I mean some brutalities include mashing certain buttons, or holding down a button preemptively. Also there is an incredibly long window in between starting that brutality and when he shoots the crow, so any point in there could be a just frame input that we might miss. On top of that, there could be prerequisites in game that we would never know to check. Include all of that, and brute forcing the way to the answer would be completely unreasonable.

Toasty Boosts were always 4 buttons and there was a system to who had what, and that still took us forever to figure out.

I think finding this is a lot of fun. I remember all the stuff with toasty boost in mk9. I remember 16 bit and ppj mentioning something on stream about a bruatality in the jungle stage. I hope we find it. Erron blacks xray brutality is holding up after 3 command grabs in a match.

You don't need command grabs for the xray brutality no more.

The Highlander

There can be only one
By 37 of these, do we mean 37 thing happening after the brutality? Cause tremor has like 3 or 4 'hidden' brutalities that are not that hard to find.

Since James has said its an input, I'm fairly confident its an input. This means its not like reptiles where you hold up. You're right, maybe there were a few more potential combinations I could have had.
  • Mashing buttons is eliminated by Brutality Kombat
  • Pre-reqs are eliminated by Brutality Kombat
  • Add in only 3 inputs (DF1, DF2 etc..), and its 2688.
  • Assume you can also have it end with LT or RT (some xrays do this), its 3360
  • Its definitely not a "just frame" input, as Trepound did it around 5 times consistently on stream. It could be in different timing windows though which is why I included the 3 timing windows. To figure those out you need to multiply the total combinations by 3. During the Brutality, when the brutality text appears and during the win pose. Even with all that considered, its only 10,000 combinations.
You get several people from TYM working on it and it will certainly not take forever to do.

James..... we are talking about selfie taking, 2000's kids here
Got a problem with Selfies?

Didn't past generations search through Code Magazines & Booklets or scour the Internet for Fatality inputs for the older titles? When you wanted to know a secret, many game magazines had them published. I don't really see much of a difference between what people did then vs what they're doing now.

Minus the obvious paid DLC.
