I've actually always thought the "easier" of the meta-character types were "Balanced" characters.

There's something about being at a serious meta-disadvantage (a rushdown character who can't get in, or a zoner who can't get them out) that takes a sort of skill that playing a character who has an answer for everything just won't teach you.

At least for Sonya, I find Special Forces (zoner) and Covert Ops (rushdown) more difficult than Demolitions (balanced) given in those if I can't get in or keep can't them out I have to deal with a whole bunch of shit.

Also, stop replying to NY-Shadow everyone.

Which top player are you? I suspect this is a troll account.[/QUOTE]
Wouldn't you like to know. Bedsides, truth needs no badge.

I've legit "liked" one of NY-Shadow's post one time just because it was so over-the top trolly that I thought it was funny- I had no idea she was being serious. Then I heard from someone that this is actually a real individual who exists and is really like this and it went from funny to ridiculously creepy right quick.

It's kinda like that person around Christmas who's always dressed up as Santa, and you're like, "Oh, that's cool" and then you find out they're actually still wearing the Santa costume 2 months later and then it's "please stay away from my children."

Well I have to hand it to you pig, you are the worlds most interesting man. Seems like a cool job, congrats on the house.

Predict where the opponent will be? lol Yeah across the screen from you while you stay far away and shoot. By the time you punish the whiff, if you do, you've lost like 65% of your health and another 25% from chip damage. lol please, you must be a total projectile spammer that rage quits when they can'r escape pressure.
Zoners like Kenshi and Quan have to predict where the opponent will be, it's not that simple to just spam runes and throw shadows out with Kenshi. One mistake could make you eat 40%

It just goes to show how when someone speaks the truth on a site that is primarily composed of crying-nerf-buff-zoners all hell breaks loose.
Once someone says the zoning style of playing is not as skillful and is not as respected as rushdown/offensive gameplay all the zoners come out of the woodwork to defend their fragile egos. lol how pathetic. You don't see any of the real great players like Perfect Legend, Sonic Fox, REO, ect feel the need to run out and cry. lol

IMO rushdown takes more skill hands down. MK players in general since MK9 have become more zoners (in my mind) because I lose to zoning every time i play online. Jump in/over punch into strings is where the skill is really at, there is a rhythm to pressuring and a real in depth knowledge of your character's moveset, recovery and startup time. Even my mother can zone (Trust me. I get beaten by her spam BS way too much). So get these zoning chumps out of the conversation of trying to legitimize a play-style that cost me many broken controllers. Zoning is for newbies IMO. Also, I'm jealous of veterans who incorporate zoning in their game because they win tournaments while I'm online losing to randoms. Truth be told anything contrary is nothing more than bullshit.

HIGH LEVEL ZONING IN A NUTSHELL:
Fullscreen block - - shoot-shoot-shoot-block-dash back--jump air projectile--low projectile-block-dash back-dash back-block-block-shoot-block-dashback-block-shoot-air projectile---wait....wait...wait..XRAY!" LMAO

If such a low level strategy wrecks you especially if you know the flow chart that's really telling of who you are as a player and especially of a lack of knowledge of your characters tools as well.

I think it's hella funny when people reply to her. There's no way she's being serious all the time, she just gives it away when she says something so outrageous. Whenever I see her posts, I know things are going to be juicy.

The only skill one can master in zoning is getting players to quit and decline after one match consistently. lol

Actually I use this tactic on zoners myself and it never fails lol. The problem for them is when I outzone them they panic and try to rushdown and that's when they get destroyed. I bait the zoners into actually playing, then I rush them down.

Try it. Once you outzone a zoner you take them out of their safezone. They usually have no rushdown skills and either quit or decline because they have to actually play with skill in which most don't have.
