I agree with this, but I still don't agree with the mentality that just because Boon said they weren't going to charge for DLC twice means that it won't happen. You say they would get bad press, but I seriously doubt anyone other than the hardcore fans would even remember that small comment he made. He is probably one of the top 3 most requested characters right now, he has a model, Boon's teased him a shit ton, I still believe it's pretty likely that he's going to be DLC. Definitely not free, probably in KP2 though.

They're "generic" reasons because they're true. Literally the only argument you have is the fact that Boon said we wouldn't make you pay for DLC twice, but considering all the other shit he's lied about he was probably lying about that too. If they think Rain will bring in the $, he will be DLC. Simple as that really, and considering the demand I'd say it's pretty likely

This kind of thing will bring so much media coverage. Predator was the character 90% of casual players bought the kp for. Obviously they need something like that again.
Two guests, two mk9 characters, smoke or noob and sindel seem most likely. No way they will make same dlc twice(Rain), it's just dumb.

Soon enough they'll forget about them and move on with the exception of few who will still play them, but the majority will move along. We live in an era of short attention spam.

How true they are is irrelevant, if you can apply it to all characters then it doesn't mean anything for one specific one. The arguments I have are that there's no repeat DLC and that there are arguably more requested characters and that he's had his chance, other characters should be given a shot at DLC. They didn't even put Fujin in KP1 so I find it difficult to use the idea that they make decisions based on what will bring in the most $ as a talking point but then again I love Fujin and maybe I'm overestimating how many Fujin fans there are (although from what I've seen and heard I doubt that). Honestly, just because he's lied before doesn't mean he lies every single time, this is what people need to realise. They're just using that as an excuse to find a way for their character to be in. It's like me saying "oh but Fujin was in the comics which means he has to be in the game", it's just stretching. Demand is only accountable if it's Tremor levels, if there's a petition with 10000 signatures for Rain then he'd be more likely to be DLC but as of yet there isn't one which is why I'm almost completely positive he won't be DLC outside of a story pack.

And don't think for one second I won't come in here and blow you all up for being wrong once he's not in

Very valid point, but I was mainly talking about online, I saw way more jades, sheevas, and strykers than sindel or rain
