Why the fuck can people still not notate BASIC GAME MECHANICS properly after four months of the game being out? Jeez...

Because if you have a variation that gives you 0 bad matchups why use anything else? therefore best character.
Best variation = best character.
You may have larger testicles than me but my penis is bigger and that's what matters, I can't play the other two variations at once but why do you need to when you have one mighty strong one?

This is how people will always generalise a character with their strongest variation, when you say Kung Lao you think tempest, when you say Takeda you think Shirai Ryu, when you think Sub you think Grand master.... really if one variation is strongest or most played then you probably associate the character with that variation first before you think of the others.

I find Jason is a good counter to Shinnok.. Particularly Relentless, you can teleport on reaction to hell sparks. But unfortunately if Shinnok gets in... Well.. He's won, gg.


I have more trouble with Boneshaper than I do with Corrupted Shinnok lol.

I don't know if he'll be nerfed but I doubt it. Shinnok was crap at release, now he's a true Elder God.

I was wrong before. Shinnok, in the Boneshaper variation, is without question the best character in the game.

Having weaknesses doesn't stop you from being the best, especially when BS Shinnok's weaknesses really aren't that bad.

Oh, and one more thing...

yea i know i am about to get blow up for saying this now. but i am sure that many will start to see this to be truth once the wave of shinnok players comes and with it all the salt lol.

i don't want to make this post too long so i will keep it short. bone shapper simple destroy many characters in this game. he has every tool that acharacter can wish for to control space any where you are in the screen

1) he can punish projectiles from almost full screen with a full combo into a standing reset on reaction

2) hell spart is the best spacial move in the game to check a offensive move an approaching opponents is planning to make. you can't jump it and it covers more than half of the screen safe against many character and builds a lot of meter. and it comes out at only 13 frames

3) when you finally manage to get close he has a 6 frame d1 and a 7 frame low save low string and a low profile d4 that can be cancel to hell spark to sent you back away from him.

Staying in his face beats him! His pokes are great but I personally find that it's hard to get people off you as Imposter. You really have to look for them to screw up. If I'm outta bar I'm boned. MB hell spark is what lets me back off and look at my options, if it's super negative then there's no reason for my opponent not to get in my face

Also it's not the pokes (which are pretty negative), it's more my strings. BS is safe because of Dark Beam, but Imposter isn't safe like that on annnnnything cept the MB spark.

Staying in his face beats him! His pokes are great but I personally find that it's hard to get people off you as Imposter. You really have to look for them to screw up. If I'm outta bar I'm boned. poke into special (hellsparks) like in every other fighting game works. D4 into hellsparks would catch u of guard if ur trying to poke after d4 animation which get canceled out.
So unless ur opponent like to mash pokes theres no reason not to.

Well no, because w the plus on block launchers if it doesn't hit they get 112124 (Lao) or bs gets his or quan chi gets another 50/50 which again all builds meter
