f12b2 is very easy to hitconfirm, you have 3 hits to confirm hit or block and hold 2 on block and let go of it immediately to go into b14.
don't defend this.
he probably doesn't know about this tech. he actually ran up and punished with f12b2(hold) superman instead of f12b2(no hold) b14 LRC 214 superman. he knew the f12b2 would hit.

you are correct in that it is impossible to confirm f12 vs f12b2 though.
