You can stagger b1 sure, but b1 not ticking is a nerf to his current guessing game. An offensive option has been removed.
If b1 still ticked then b14~grab working on hit would be better.

Only thing is, we don't know if this change is sticking or not. We also don't know if these are all of the changes that are being made to the characters. We're gonna have to wait until patch notes drop either shortly before March 1st or on March 1st.Oh, the Kotal forums. Sun God got nerfed. Plain and simple. Can you still win with him? Of course. But to say that he didn't or is the same as he was is just silly. Come on now. You can love a character and still admit when he's been changed. And as for Blood God being fine as is, all the characters are fine as is, but not if you want to win at a high level with them. There are enough people playing this game it's very easy to tell when something has become solid. Sun God got buffed and then a lot of people started to play him and win with him. Blood God got buffed and people tried him (Forever King, Coach Steve, etc.) and lost. Blood God just doesn't have the cheese that so many other characters do. Sun God had some cheese and now it's gone.
We're not being surveyed on them, true. But that doesn't mean feedback here or anywhere else is being disregarded. Only time will tell and folks can only remain hopeful that some things don't stick.@Eldriken, true, the nerf/buffs may not stay. But if they do, he's no longer as good a character. People will adapt, of course, but that doesn't change what his new tier will be.
Also, it seems likely that the adjustments will stay. After all, it's not like we're being surveyed about the nerfs/buffs, just the online.

They can jump/armor out of it. If people know the MU like they should, they'll know that just using b14 is dumb since it's like -17 on block and we're gonna have to commit to db2 or try and make a read that they're gonna jump and do b14~df1/EX pizza instead.I dunno about you guys but B14 CG on block and hit landing? Well it's kind of a tick and kind of not. I think it was ji3 that you could just input the grab but the other ones needed a slight delay. Was messing with it the other day since his jump ins are so good and people expect normals after blocked jump ins.
