Nice post. Reason I asked Tom was because I believe i heard him say in his stream, Erron was a bad macth up for Sub.

I really don't consider EB to be a bad matchup for Sub. If Tom and Sonicfox ever meet in any championship, my money would be on Tom's SZ. And the reason for that isn't because I think Tom is better player than Sonicfox, the reason is because I think Sonicfox doesn't know how to deal with Sub-Zero proper. Like I said before all DJT did at corner was basically overheads which Sonicfox blocked (I believe) all of them. And did not punished ONE. This is just a exemple.

It's a fair 5-5 imo. Tho there's a lot more worse match ups to deal with as SZ than Erron Black...

The GM SZ MU is bad for Erron, no doubt about that. What happened with DJT is that he was severely outplayed. He should've gone for a character he knew, instead of a counterpick.

He was severely outplayed, no doubt. Even after losing almost free that match against DJT Sub-Zero, Sonicfox put his shit together and won.

But I think DJT didn't just counter picked there. He knows the ways of Sub-Zero. He just plays a bit differently than Tom Brady.

It was said a few times that if you'd mixed up your options out of 214~FBC instead of just repeating 214/214/214, you'd probably have gotten the additional damage to win the match. Chip is cool, but sometimes the bigger chunk of damage is what you need to close it out.

Anyway, always good to see you compete.

Tbh the cancels are safer to use then go for a mixup that if blocked, may screw u over in the rnd or force u to deal with the wakeups. His cancels are +20 about and tbh I haven't got them down to where I can do 4 of them, but that is on me.

I really like Tom's Sub breakdowns. His Sub is one of the best I seen fundamental wise.

I'm too highly ranked in the poverty game to throw 500 bucks at an fgc bet, but I would be willing to continue the time honored forum tradition of making an avatar bet.

SonicFox beats Dizzy next go round you have to rock an avatar of my choosing for a month, same goes for me if Dizzy wins.

I think the fact that all of a sudden all the pocket/counter pick Raidens have been missing from the last two tournaments doesn't bode well.

It was a joke. Marvaz made a 500 bet in the past which he didn't pay when he lost the bet.

if someone intentionally got hit by the 4 of 214 during your 214~fb cancel loops do you think youd be able to react in time to convert? thats what ive been doing online and it has like a 100% success rate of me taking 5% dmg and tech rolling
