Not in terms of character tournament viability. Deathstroke is obviously a little bit better than Kano. But in terms of having been toned down to appease online scrubs, Deathstroke's story is similar to Kano's story and hence why Deathstroke is Kano 2.0.

What are you talking about? This game has no top tier zoning characters any more. Name me one. Scrubs would cry otherwise. Unfortunately, even this web site has some crying scrubs.

Superman? lol. And yes I agree with you that NRS has done their fair share of nerfing to zoning characters but that doesn't mean it still isn't VERY strong. Strongest zoning fighting game I've ever played. Trash.

You must not play too many fighting games.

Superman's game mostly revolves around frame trapping with f+2,3 xx super breath. Lasers are a crucial but secondary tool.

Mileena was winning tournaments the first year of Mortal Kombat 9's release too. In the end, people adapted to the gimmicks and beat her. She ended up being mid tier. Deathstroke will suffer the same fate.

I'm all for opinions man, but isn't there just a small part of you that can consider being wrong.... like for real now.

MK9 had some extremely broken things in the game and I think is actually a bad comparison for this game. Superman, KF, and BA are great characters, but they have their holes and flaws too, flaws that Deathstroke could easily take advantage of.

I think a better comparison would be Rufus from SSF4:AE ver 2013. At first people thought he was good but when they broke him down knew that he wasn't nearly as good as a ton of the cast. He's considered 12th best on the most common tier list right now but that doesn't stop Justin Wong and Ricky Ortiz from beasting with him on a regular basis.

This isn't MK9....

He was definitely New York's hero last weekend.

One has to ask, how does GGA expect to beat VSM at Evolution this year? Even with all the prior knowledge of the patch that they had, they were still unable to beat someone whose primary game is not Injustice. The Dominican brothers and REO must feel very confident. I expect VSM to win unless GGA applies some psychological and/or bullying tactics as they did to Tom Brady at UFGT.
