I wonder what the actual number is on SOS3 on block.

Haha im hopping over to gunslinger, outlaw is going to become my secondary.

Edit: nvm just saw on Sonic's twitter. SOS3 is -6!

So hyped for this buff. I'll be very happy if this variation becomes as viable as the other two.

Can't wait for new tech to be discovered.

Btw, he prob meant 11b3? Not sure.

Midscreen highest i've gotten is
starter xx ex bf3 njp f3 xx sos 2 rc 21122 xx caltrops 34% hell of a lot easier than f2 xx db4

I think it's pretty good now honestly, I think there's gonna be some insane setups people will find in the future, this variation has a lot of potential. SOS 2 isn't exactly the greatest for combos or as an AA but it's decent. I don't know how good it is compared to his other variations yet but it's definitely viable i'd say

So I guess the F1 buff to -1 from -7 isn't useless after all.

Since F1 can go into SOS2 you can hit confirm it and if F1 is blocked you are super safe. Well...I think its hit confirmable lol

So I've seen that Gunslinger got some much needed buffs, I think I'll pick up gunslinger finally. Just gunslinger, never really cared for Marksman and Outlaw since they lack the hat and the gun tricks.

seems you have to input your Stand off select as soon as the stance start now instead of just inputing your choice before the special came out.

I just tried the gun cancels myself just now against Kung Laos Ex spin and I can't cancel it to make it safe anymore... But I also tried Scorpion's hellfire cancel and I can make it safe... Wtf...

I think this might be a Universal change. Just tested with SQ D'Vorah, HW Jax, A-List Cage, and DF Liu Kang and they all got affected by it too it seems.

sos2 can be used for some disgusting corner carry. At the middle of the stage a simple Njp, b2 xx sos2 xx rc xx 21122 xx far caltrops sets them right in the corner with ct in front of them (23%).

I'm just glad we have meterless +24% midscreen combos now that dont need the b32u1 string.

Well, shit. Just as I was getting good with gun cancels in real matches, they nerf it.
NRS really want us to play gunslinger, so nice of them.

dont know if its been said in here yet but Errons ST grab wiffs on crouch blocking opponents after 8-31 patch:(

and sadly eb's marksman RC's are now not +plus on block, cuz you cant cancel at the first frame anymore

I'm at work now and haven't been able to dl the patch. Can anyone check the properties of the coin regular and ex. Is it interruptable in combo, does ex juggle maybe in the corner better, any stealth buffs like sos3 surprise?

unfortunately coin shot combos is still the same as pre patch for the most part I think. coin shot still only combos in f13, f12 and b33. you can't f1 xx close moneyshot either.

Idk if this was the case before but after f12 close shot on hit I think they're forced to block if your rc into 21122. I tried armoring out or anything but I was only able to block.

Havent tried ex in the corner

Hmm, interesting with f12 coin if they are forced to block, better than nothing I guess. I guess for now it's best use is just a zoning overhead and that's it.

My bad I forgot to post it works with f13 too unless my reactions are just bad lol, gonna need someone else to confirm. the recovery frames did improve by 7-9 so idk if that's what's causing it.

if this is legit well..
