All too easy...
Hunter and GM are very similar. How can someone who plays as neither tell people who do how it is?
Um Subzero was the first character I learned in this game before I moved on to FT... I also spent all of my time yesterday after Predator got released on Xbone in the lab with Hunter exclusively... soooo I do play both?

False, i will not 2nd SZ.
You dropping Sub-Zero entirely, or are you making Predator your second.

Also Yo Tom, play me at MKX sometime on the PSN, I need my introduction into Predator. Got my Infrared hurting your eyes skin for Scorpion ready for ya.

Mine doesn't activate immediately unless he spends meter like clone does, Subzero way more mobile, Iceball goes into full combo on trade with projectiles, EX iceball destroys projectiles for free combo and set up from anywhere on screen, and has a universal anti airing meterless overhead starter...

No these are no the same character. Just because Hunter and Grandmaster both are trap based doesn't make them the same
Klone is not reliable, unless you limit it to using as shield only and occasionaly as projectile. Anything else klone related - cancelling into it, throwing into it (as fun as this tech is), is a risk.
Regular Ice ball is slow and easy to block. It all depends on the proximity from opponent really. If it's half screen it's easy to block. If it's close it's easy to punish. And Ice ball does no chip dmg, so you can block happily till the end of timer, whereas Sub cannot block other projectiles without taking chip. EX one is also pretty easy to block, the only good thing about it is it goes through projectiles.

I highly doubt you have the same level of knowledge or exp as some of the better SZ players. I think they would know GM just a bit better as they continued to use him at high level. I learned F/T but you dont see me telling those players anything because I dont consider myself expert enough besides an "on paper" breakdown like you just did.

I have no doubt you know how to play GM, I just doubt that you have the same level of exp to say in no way is Predator Hunter variation similar or better.

I know enough about Sub to know that GM and Hunter are different characters with different strengths and weakness though. That's all I was saying

The topic is referring to their trapping abilities which are in fact similar with Predator doing it better, safer, and for more damage. If you are in doubt on their trapping abilities being similar, need I remind you that the GM traps that you learned all came from someone else and I assure you that they would agree that Predator's traps are similar.

Yes the corner set ups off NJK are similar but klone is a much different move midscreen so the characters are still different in the end

I dont think anyone was saying the clone is similar to the trap in mid screen neutral situations. Maybe similar to an extent in that area but also pretty different. Its the corner game that is very similar and Predator does it better.

WTF am I ding posting in a SZ forum/topic anyway lol... Im out of here before I get told I'm embarrassing the game again. I wish a mod could just ban me from this forum so I wouldnt even be tempted to post lol.

Wait... is that possible? Can a mod ban you from a forum? OMG.. if it's possible please, PLEASE ban me from the SZ forum. Seriously... PLEASE

Cannot blame competitive player that travels for tournaments for choosing a better option. It seams Sub loyalists, we are now on our own. If things not change we will see 0 Sub matches at tournaments.

Unless said character is extremely viable.

Predator literally came out yesterday: sadly I don't have the kombat pack so I'll have to wait 'till next week to try him but it seems way to early to make such a statement.
