Mortal Kombat X Rankings Now On SRK

Noob
Added in Texas Showdown results (was not done as at that time there were no MKX rankings yet), and downgraded ESL Pro League to CIRCUIT events, that score lower (circuit type is fixed and does not consider player weights, it is given to weeklies so that we still get character usage statistics but it doesn't boost player ranking that much)

How many entrants were there for Texas Showdown?

These "World Rankings" are almost as funny as the Super Bowl where only american teams compete to become "World Champion" :DOGE
To be fair, only Americans play American football so they can realistically call themselves world champions because no one else plays the sport. Cos it's...yknow.....shit.

It's like if someone were to call the Hurling All Ireland Final the 'World Final'. Okay it's technically wrong, but no one can realistically dispute it

Why are people so fond of this/these lists?

Unless we fully create a go to list ourselves to weigh things, and have some sort of true structure with our tournaments or 'league' per se, this shit means nothing.

My 2 cents

What tourney has foxy been to w large competition?
What is your minimum for a tournament to have large competition? Each of Birmingham, Manchester and London had 64 man brackets. Not quite the size of American Majors, I know, but you'd think they'd be counted as much as online weeklies

Because these are Evo seedings if I'm not mistaken
Wow. If so, nevermind.

EDIT - If we're ranking weeklies too (I see NLBC in there), then imo this is a little disrespectful to my local down at Versus which is arguably the most stacked local IN THE NATION every week. And yes that includes the top heavy Yomi. While I'd say Yomi is #1, there is absolutely no way we're not #2.

What's the basis?

We average in between 27-30+ entrants every week, which to my knowledge is more than anywhere else. What's the basis? Popularity? Since we're counting ESL....myself, Viking and Big D have all Top 8 in ESL once. Then we have Gross, Noobe, Whiteboi, Deg, Wade, Mojito, SomeCubanGuy etc, who plenty of people in the community can attest to their skill.

I know we're not insanely popular, but if we're gonna count NLBC, I feel we should most definitely be accounted for. Maybe you should watch us and find out. There's absolutely no hostility btw, just need to speak up a little more often, you know being a leader and all for my scene.

(Btw, Houston/TX, I know you guys have had 60 man locals, but those aren't every week and should be weighted accordingly if so)

This is america jack

In america we call that soccer and we don't play that well at all lol
As a side note, I do love the random player that gets hyped coming from the States every few years. Jozy Altidore may be the worst player I have even seen at the highest levels of soccer
