I'm a pad player, so selling a fellow do this on a pad gives me some hope. Still haven't pulled the damn thing off consistently in a real match.
I know it's doable, especially with practice. Not sure if it's worth it though. I rarely use ex ball and when I do I like the knife restand

22 ex ball jip 22 choke is 34% into slightly better oki, ending in knife is 31% into +7 restand and requires no execution. In other words, no excusesThis is what has stopped me from learning this variation for awhile.
