So is F2 and B3 considered a 50/50?

The start up of F2 is obviously 15 frames. Does the 2nd hit come quick enough, to where people can't react when also thinking about B3/D4 and throw?

This might be one of life's greatest questions kappa.
The 2nd hit comes very fast.

My answer is yes. Only because 15f or so is a much faster OH than F4.

Can 212 and 21 xx takedown with Ninjutsu be fuzzy guarded? I would say definitely.

The last 2 in 212 is 20 frames, takedown is 11 frames. 9 frames apart and you can't delay since it's a mid string mix up.

Also, in Ninjutsu, I haven't been restanding with teleport, just S3.

Basically because F2 is much safer after the push back from S3 on hit, and when I do a slight run to do B4, it makes it harder to fuzzy guard B4 and F2.

I'm still not completely sure if the 2nd hit of F2 is reactable or not. I mean it is but when you throw in B3, I wonder if it becomes a legit guess. If so, this variation is pretty strong imo, especially considering the safety of a max range F2 after S3 on hit.

Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
F2 can stuff Kung Lao's EX spin, so I'd say the 2nd hit comes out 5 frames after the first.

Also in close quarters you should ideally be using B4xxEX Spear since it's a true blockstring, B3xxEX Spear is not and can be armored/neutral ducked.

I've been using S3 ender as well. People aren't familiar with it and it's like +26. Every option Scorp has jails after S3.

You literally have the frames to walk forward then 50/50. You can also jump in to mix things up a bit. It's much better than the TP ender IMO.

I agree that this may be better than the teleport ender only for ninjutsu. With hellfire if you are looking to pressure after a combo you want the opponent closer since the normals you will be starting pressure with have shorter range. Obviously you could get in range with a mini run and still have frame advantage after a standing 3 ender with hellfire but that would take some of your valuable stamina (which hellfire definitely needs) before you even start your pressure.

So basically I agree with what you said but only for ninjutsu.

I'm kinda exclusively using Ninjutsu so I can build a solid MU chart. Nonetheless, still very good points regarding stamina usage.

What is the max damage you can get off of 214 meterless and 1 bar? (Hellfire variation)
I'm sure this isn't max damage but I do......

214 xx teleport, 21 xx spear, cross over jump 2, F4 xx flame aura, S3 fbrc S4 xx teleport.

214 xx teleport, 214 xx EX teleport, slight run 21 xx spear, cross over jump 2, F4 xx flame aura, S3 fbrc S4 xx teleport.

@Red Raptor personally I use the same combos as above as my standard 214 bnb's but I end them in either s3~teleport or 21~teleport. If you do the fbrc as part of the bnb ender you have a little less stamina for the post-restand pressure which I don't think is worth it for only about 1% more damage.

Are you looking into playing hellfire??

Hey guys, Grandmaster main here but I'm thinking of having a Co Main in Scorpion. Not a Pocket Character but someone right on par with my Main so I at least have some options. If anything I may have a Pocket Kung Jin as he seems to flow with me too.

With Scorpion though I played his Tower last week and I think I can make him work once I put the effort in. Scorpion and Sub-Zero have basically been my Main 2 characters since MK1 but I've focused on Grandmaster the past 5 months since getting MKX where I now think it's time to learn some one else to compliment him and who better than Scorpion.

I'm not a fan of Inferno but I do like Hell Fire and Ninjutsu. I'm just messing around with him in practice at the moment learning his moves but I'm yet to learn proper combos. If anyone here has any tips or a guide for someone still quite new to the MKX System I'd appreciate it.
HF focus on fbrc pressure as that is essential to HF's gameplan along with flame aura as it's one of the best AA's in the game and s3 is one of the best punish tools Scorpion has as well as it being a good AA and end combos into a restand as HF u need all the pressure u can get. Ninjutsu, ur playing footsies most of the time. B2 is a great whiff punish tool and has some of the best range in the game. F2 and B4 are good armor breaking tools and can break any armored move except for x-rays most of the time. When it comes to gameplan. Ninjutsu has an incredibly good oki game so u want to give ur opponent a hard knockdown as they will hesitate to armor against Ninjutsu. Also make use of the f2/f2~takedown mixup tho don't abuse too much as opponents could fuzzy it if u do it too often. Use 214,114 as ur main meter building tool and s3 is even more imporant for ninjutsu. That's all I got for ya

Which is the best and more consistent way for Scorpion (Ninjutsu) to punish Mileena's teleport when she does a sai?

Looks like Scorp's d1 sometimes whiffs if he blocks her teleport while he's not crouching.

Big fan of pressure kharacters, so Hellfire and Ninjutsu are my go to variations. Inferno is a worthless variation.

What is it with the lack of ninjutsu scorpion players on MKX? I would think after the f2 buff and buff to his other strings, there probably should be more ninjutsu users. But so far, I haven't really seen anyone use Ninjutsu and it's been about the same as Pre-XL. What's with it?

The Scorpion loyalists are still using both Hellfire and Ninjutsu. Tier whores are going to jump on the latest top tier bandwagons (alien, takeda, etc) but the character specialists are going to keep on truckin with their main and Scorpion is no different. You got to see some solid Ninjutsu in ESL out of Blake. At this point Blake is the main face of Ninjutsu in the competitive world (at least for North America). You gotta remember this is a very honest variation based around neutral footsies and spacing in a (generally) very dishonest game when looking at the top 10 characters and their tools so people are going to tend to gravitate towards what they perceive as "their best chance to win" especially when competing for money and that is why you will see less of characters that require a lot of work at the highest level like Ninjutsu.

Well, Ninjutsu is still my most used variation so there's that.
