Let's hope for this next round of Battle Arena that Joker looks a little better than he did last round vs. Lex, because idk about the rest of you guys but he looked a little lack luster to me. I'm not expecting him to win at all, but I just want to see a better display of his gameplay. I'm really hoping that they show better usage of Joker's tools first and foremost. I really wasn't impressed by much of what he has at his disposal tbh, and I'm hoping they show me just what he is capable of this round. He seems really slow, in terms of both his specials and normals, and I would like him to at least be able to put all these to good use. Lastly let's see some better combos man, I want some jokey ass swag on dat screen! What are you guys looking for from Joker? What do you think about him from what you have seen so far?

Considering joker is like the most popular villain in comic book history, he does look a bit lackluster and bad.

Joker has Sektor's flamethrower, crazy wall-juggle opportunities, gun cancels, and that rolling canister is like Freddy's crawling fingers move, which guarantees a free super if the opponent is dumb enough to jump over.

I agree that it didn't show too much of his gameplay, but we have to bear in mind that the game isn't even out yet, and the character was probably explored in a very limited amount of time by whomever was playing as the Joker.

I was disappointed by the throw- Don't get me wrong, I like how he viciously guts the opponent with the knife... But you know what's missing? His electricity shock.

The super could have also been better too. It should have been him spraying you with the kryptonite fear gas, making you hallucinate while he beats the crap out of you with the crowbar and then says WAKEY WAKEY when he exposes you with the rocket.

Man, I don't know what people were expecting though. It's the Joker.. He's not a martial artist or a combat specialist; he's a weird guy who uses gags, ruses, elaborate traps, and henchmen to attack his opponents. He'll stab you sure, but he's no karate kid.

In short, he's just strange. Nothing about him makes sense.

I thought he looked very accurate to his character archetype -- and that people who are fans of his true character (rather than people who just want to see the Joker as some badass MMA fighter) will understand exactly where he's coming from.

I think people were expecting more gags like a Boxing Glove on a Spring or a Electric Hand Buzzer

The flamethrower equivalent was the special I was most pleased with, as far as wall juggles go it seems like every character is going to get good wall juggles in this game so I don't see that being a huge factor. I liked the canister too, even though it did start up pretty slow. I'm aware of the fact that the character will need to be explored, and I absolutely plan to do just that. However tbh after what I saw he is one of the characters I'm the least excited about trying out. Maybe next round will change my mind. Hell I'll probably talk all this talk and still main him when the game comes out haha.

He sprayed poison juice from his pocket flower, kicked a canister of gas at his opponent, fired a gun that surrounded lex in a smelly purple haze, turned a knife into a fire extinguisher, and threw pies.. And you're mad because he didn't have a hand buzzer? Who's going to shake his hand anyway? :)

I'm not talking about how he looks aesthetically, I'm talking about as a fighting game character, he just doesn't look good to me. As far as actual looks are concerned I thought he looked great.

They haven't shown anything for him yet. His bombs look horrible with a super long startup time.

Not saying he wont be good, just saying theyve done a piss poor job of showing him.
