Burning down in flames for kicks
im only now learning the DB2 cancels. Its really tough for me
To help you out, try doing this simple combo:im only now learning the DB2 cancels. Its really tough for me
sorry im not sure what you mean by stun kick?To help you out, try doing this simple combo:
EX DF2, B14xxDB1... Wait till you see the stun kick.
The kick is the cue to hit the run input. You'll time it correctly after some tries. I was on the same boat like you till I got used to it. If you do the run input, and then do the 213 to hit your opponent before he does auto block, that means that you succeeded with this.
I think the same is applied with DB2.
The B14 is this string that temporarily stuns your opponent. Just after the kick connects it's the cue to hit the run input for the LRC. The same is applied for DB2. IMO, DB2 is harder than the DB1.sorry im not sure what you mean by stun kick?
but after the kick connects he does the special move...so how do i cancel it when he kicks them? The B14 is this string that temporarily stuns your opponent. Just after the kick connects it's the cue to hit the run input for the LRC. The same is applied for DB2. IMO, DB2 is harder than the DB1.
Just hold the corresponding attack button (2 or 1), and after this kick connects, you need to do the run input.but after the kick connects he does the special move...so how do i cancel it when he kicks them?
Literally took me months. Practice practice practice. After the lighting motion you have to wait a little before canceling.Bump.
Help! Lol
Don't do it too fast, wait till you see his lightning ball animation before you run cancel.Bump.
Help! Lol
Hi I picked Raiden recently (for fun). I started practicing LRC and it took me 15-20 minutes to execute the combo with DF2MB.Just hold the corresponding attack button (2 or 1), and after this kick connects, you need to do the run input.
Just practice the LRC like this: DB1 (hold the 1), and then hit the run input. Only then you'll understand how does it work. The rest you'll know.
Yea, K-TOP has got the LRC pretty much perfected. Same with Nivek, though he stopped playing the Thunder God variation about a year ago, if I am not mistaken. Another thing that really impresses me with K-TOP is his use of (EX) Vicinity Blast (makes it very hard for the opponent to escape a corner) and how quickly he builds meter with the held lightning strings. I watched a stream earlier this year, commentated by Ketchup and Mustard, where one of them said K-TOP used seven bars of meter in a round once! Combine that with TG Raiden's 50/50s and he's got probably the best corner pressure with Raiden.I watched several K-TOP matches in the archive. That cancels...rock! Holy...
Those guys are my homies. K-Top is of another league. He did beat Nivek some time ago.Yea, K-TOP has got the LRC pretty much perfected. A lotta liars exist in the forum who were just good at everything and could do LRCs in an hour. I have been playing every kind of FG for 15 years+. I can tell you that it took me atleast 2 months to get the LRC nailed down consistently for both offline and online. To me, it was definitely one of the harder things to get down. Well, there is another beast called the Viscinity blast cancel. When you fit multiple in a combo, the timing's fking different for each and every one. It was a nightmare for me and took me a fking year at least to get it down for offline/online (though i didn't practice it too often)Lol then I must be Americas dumbest player since it took months and I've heard everywhere people saying from 2 weeks to 2 hours. At least I can be an example of somebody being "more of a scrub" than other people.
For me it took a week or so to master the LRC. When I found out the animation's frame I found exactly the moment to cancel it. Not gonna say about the VBC (Vicinity Blast Cancel). I have never done that.A lotta liars exist in the forum who were just good at everything and could do LRCs in an hour. I have been playing every kind of FG for 15 years+.
