Also its not like im saying buff kung lao and no one else lol. it would also give him a way to end 21212 without taking too much of a risk other than being caught in a blockstring or eating a throw or reptiles dash. he's still be at the disadvantage and be in pressure but without getting a severe punish so it still balances out. and the 24~spin stance change really needs to go xD
Listen Catch, Kung Lao doesn't need a buff. Maybe your Lao does though.

Why would he ever need that though? Sindel is bottom 10 and her low fireball is -15 on block, yet I don't hear shit from them. Your character is top 5, stop being spoiled.
so? its not like i'm saying buff lao and no one else, jeez. sindel can have her low fireball at -7 if they want lol. idc.

Because he needs to have stronger zoning, zoners can't even zone this character as it currently stands, which is part of why he blows them up in addition to his great pressure; and most zoners have more negative on block projectiles than Kung Lao's current low hat, think about that for a minute lol. He doesn't need to be safer and he doesn't need more options.



He has some of the best mobility in the game, ridiculous pressure options with really good range for being so quick at 7 frames that are neutral on block, which means he can abuse them because most people have nothing outside of low pokes to check that, not to mention he can blow up counterpoke attempts for full combo with spin, which is 6 frames has a hitbox from head to toe, front to back.

Additionally he has neutral on block/safe teleport mix ups (they have to whiff to be punishable) and I haven't even talked about his divekick, which builds tons of meter or his armor, amazing x-ray or other tools at his disposal.



There is no point in buffing low tier characters if you're going to buff strong top tier characters simultaneously, that pretty much leaves things the same as they were before the buffs.



I don't even care to argue about the stance stuff, this character is dumb lol.

Cyrax Doesnt need a buff he needs to be nerfed, Jax on the other hand im a bit iffy if he needs his corner loop nerfed or not, kabal just needs his 2ndc nerfed a few frames. the low tiers need a shit ton of buffs....i could go into all this but this is not the thread for that lol.

kung lao still should have -7 low hat on block >3>

and also....tombstone 3-7 vs lao :p

I can live with 5-5. No way does lao beat quan tho
sure lao does, what does quan chi have that makes the fight even, Quan has shit pokes and no footsies, where as lao has great footsies and good pokes. Kung Lao has no problem getting in on Quan chi and making his life hell. B3 1+2 can be interrupted with spin quite easily. the only thing Quan has going for him is his rune trap, which pretty much the only thing he ever has going for him in any of his MU's.

Your obviously inexperienced in the MU. All you need to know is its 5-5 at worst for quan.

That was just an example of how to play the MU. Im not too sure what else to tell you guys. Forever king says its 5-5, pboard says it 5-5, PL actually has said quan beats lao. So i mean, its not just me trying to up play my character.

King has it 6-4 Quan in the OP and PL thinks Baraka is 5-5..............

But from the video it just looked like you out played him and made good reads. He was being predictable with the teleports which you uppercutted every time and he went for f3~low hat constantly which you read and punished.

if there were 2 buffs kung lao should get i'd say 24~spin would always hit regardless of stance and low hat would be -7 on block but still only +2 on hit.

if he had that i'd be satisfied. the low hat would make low hitbox characters less of a problem
