also causing his low hat to have slightly better recovery making it only -7 on block would make it a tad easier to zone with. Also its not like im saying buff kung lao and no one else lol. it would also give him a way to end 21212 without taking too much of a risk other than being caught in a blockstring or eating a throw or reptiles dash. he's still be at the disadvantage and be in pressure but without getting a severe punish so it still balances out. and the 24~spin stance change really needs to go xD
Because he needs to have stronger zoning, zoners can't even zone this character as it currently stands, which is part of why he blows them up in addition to his great pressure; and most zoners have more negative on block projectiles than Kung Lao's current low hat, think about that for a minute lol. He doesn't need to be safer and he doesn't need more options.
He has some of the best mobility in the game, ridiculous pressure options with really good range for being so quick at 7 frames that are neutral on block, which means he can abuse them because most people have nothing outside of low pokes to check that, not to mention he can blow up counterpoke attempts for full combo with spin, which is 6 frames has a hitbox from head to toe, front to back.
Additionally he has neutral on block/safe teleport mix ups (they have to whiff to be punishable) and I haven't even talked about his divekick, which builds tons of meter or his armor, amazing x-ray or other tools at his disposal.
There is no point in buffing low tier characters if you're going to buff strong top tier characters simultaneously, that pretty much leaves things the same as they were before the buffs.
I don't even care to argue about the stance stuff, this character is dumb lol.
