its very simple. perfect connection=good experience/ not useless. lag=bad experience/useless.
The sad thing is: my combos worked better online. Messed up timing offlinedo every combo I can offline online(obviously not as consistent).
Ha, I know what you mean bro. I play kano and you have to dash pause 212 some of his combos and online its just dash 212.The sad thing is: my combos worked better online. Messed up timing offline
My point put in better words. LolOnline is not bad if you check your ego and don't play randoms or ranked, its the same with t6 your gonna get lag and scrubs.
Both sides are correct. For characters that combo heavily in the air, your timing can be messed up. For others, such as Sub, you can fight through the lag for combos, but still get punished when trying to "just fight." However, the only thing you should remember is: ONLINE IS 3,000 TIMES BETTER THAN PLAYING THE BEAST ASS AI THAT BLOCKS NOT ONLY MY ATTACKS, BUT MY SOUL FROM BEING AT EASE  Yes, I agree that online can mess you up, but for those of us that do not have anyone to play offline with (raises hand) online has at least a little benefit. Hey, Expert Shao Kahn... :fuckyou:
I'll probably be going to Nashville, so if I get waxed there, then I can officially say that I will never get on the extreme competitive level. I think there are two people in my city that can play with any skill whatsoever, and one of them uses Sheeva
You're very correct, while I don't have a viable fighting scene in my current town/state that I'm aware of, I've met people here which do have viable fighting scenes in neighboring states. Once the online improves, I could learn a lot from these people and if they were holding a tournament in a neighboring state then I'd begin highly considering going to them!Online isn't "useless". Anyone who thinks this is a fool.
Without online community and online tournaments, SSF4 wouldn't be what it is now. And without a good online, the general MK community will never EVER be able to expand, improve their game and evolve. That's the truth sisters. Wether you like it or not, offline and online are deeply related to each other.
Of course it's better to play offline for serious tournaments and stuff. It's a no brainer. But to say that online if completely useless is just dumb and not understanding the importance of it.
