The Power of Lame Compels You
Hey guys! So as you may or may not know, making your farts meaty is a very useful practice as you are absurdly plus afterwards. Dragon's Breath has been keeping this tech greedily to itself for awhile (having the easiest time applying the fart, not necessarily the only variation to use it but definitely uses it best) and well honestly after playing a long set against my good friend @Mr Aquaman and being forced to eat meaty farts for the majority of that set I thought to myself, "How can the Drunken Memester use this?" so I ran to the lab and the results seem to be filled with potential.
So How Does It Work?
So in the case of Dragon's Fire, the meaty fart setup is basically a combo with a lot of gravity ending with a fart that will then hit the opponent meaty. Our only problem is that while we can add plenty of gravity to a combo, we have time constraints. Have no fear though! I labbed it and here is an example of how you'll be doing this.
The simplest bit of this whole meaty fart business is opening up your opponent. This could even occur after your meaty fart. However for this bit let's say you open them up with a simple 244 xx Meditation->3 mixup. Here's how that combo would go
244 xx Meditaion->3, S3 xx DB4, DD1, B233 xx Meditation->3, 21, 21, D1 xx DB4
Alright so there is only one option that will punish this outright and that is tech roll wakeups (i encourage people to lab this for some better stuff as I didn't spend all TOO long on this) and that will only beat it if the opponent has a 8f or faster armored reversal (non-armored moves will get stuffed and armored moves that are any slower will be slow enough for you to block them.) So only a select few characters in the cast can punish this and again that's only if they tech roll. After that it's pretty self explanatory. Mix them to death with plus frames and such.
NOTE: After a F34 You will only do one 21 before doing D1 xx DB4 instead of two
So yea, there's my application of meaty farts. Keep in mind that you're Drunken Master and that the opponent guessing right on this meaty far could mean a lot more than it does for Dragon's Breath but I still think we can benefit heavily from this kind of thing. Keep an eye out for more Drunken Master tech from me, I just picked him up, he's tons of fun. If you wanna see me get bodied by Aquaman in that set I was talking about, link is here

Starts a little bit before the half way mark (keep in mind, it is NOT a pretty sight. I get bodied super hard but I feel like I didn't do as badly as I could have. Probably just extreme unfamiliarity with the character on my part plus me not being nearly as good at this game as Aquaman is. Criticism is not only welcomed but encourage tbh but please do that in a different thread, this thread is about the setup, the link is just here to demonstrate how dumb this kind of thing is on Dragon's Breath and why we should use it)
As always I hope you enjoyed this thread and if you watch the set I hope you enjoy that as well. Take care!
