I'm a character loyalist so Kitana is always number 1. I love Raiden and played him in all but MKD/DA/A. I love mileena too, so she has been a secondary character in every game she has been in.

I honestly didn't start "maining" characters until MKX because I never really played tried to get gud/play somewhat competitively until it was announced but ill just substitute mains for who I played the most in each game lol

MK1 - Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden. I used Scorp and Sub about the same, and Raiden a little less.
MK2 - Scorpion, Reptile, Sub-Zero in that order for most used. I pretty much use everybody when I play it now though.
UMK3 - Cyber Smoke, Kabal, and Scorpion (but I use all of the "ninjas" too)
MK4 - Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reiko
MKDA - Scorpion, Cyrax, Drahmin, Shang Tsung, Frost and Nitara
MKD - Noob-Smoke, Scorpion, Ermac, Kabal, Havik , Sub-Zero, Baraka, and Mileena.
MKA - Pretty much everybody, I didn't ever really stick with one character in this game.
MKVSDC - Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Baraka. I played the whole MK side though.
MK9 - Pretty much everybody except for Stryker, Nightwolf, Sheeva, Kano, Sonya, and Jax
