Sub Zero isn't getting the shit kicked out of him. Obviously fake.

The real one is just Scorpion uppercutting every character in turn. There isn't even a game, just an endless loop of Scorpcuts

yeah,not enough Scorpion. Actually,the real menu screen is Scorpion with all his skins. even the announcements will be changed by pictures of Scorpion.
wonder why it wasn't called Scorpion Kombat instead...
JK,but I have to say,I like the main menu screen,especially given the fact that the BG will change depending on the faction you are aligned with(i'm guessing this BG is used if you haven't aligned with any faction,in other words,the default BG) Really hoping that if you pick Single Fight or 2P,it immediately transitions to the character select screen without loading,that would be awesome.

Not a fan of the vertical look, prefer when the game modes are in a line along the bottom,

Very simple menu, which is good, but i liked MK9 design more.
