Also, interestingly as the original move sets were pulled from what I assume is a beta list there's a lot of cool sounding moves that didn't make it into the game :(

@Temjiin@smokey Could we please note if the move is a high, mid, low, or overhead starter? Some mids aren't true mids and whiff on crouching opponents. Also for strings could we always list the start up to the first hit in the string, unlike the in game data.

The following properties for all moves will be listed:

Notations
Hit Level
Startup
Active
Recovery
Block adv
Hit adv
Cancel

Can you give us specific examples of which moves have dodgy hit levels? (Ermac's B1 is supposed to be a mid but is more of a high for example)

I'm not sure about the startup for first hit in strings.... they're going to be listed under the starter unlike the game which has combos separate to starters.

This is already in. We have notes for things such as whiffing on crouch and stuff that doesnt work the way the in game data suggests, but this info needs to be collected first. We are looking to get testers/character specialists who can give us details on these inconsistencies so that when it is released it can be more reliable and useful at a glance than the in game data.

A few of us have begun work on a bible of ALL frame data in the game that is accessible to everyone online easily, so you don't need to go to Training mode for this data any more.

What this will mean is the whole community will have access to a resource that:
  • Lists all up to date frame data for every character.
  • Allows you to sort your character's data by safest and fastest moves or slowest and least safe.
  • Lets you INSTANTLY match up your selected move's start up frames with an opponent's block advantage for punish options by clicking either your move or the move you wish to know how to punish.
  • Highlights all + and 0 moves for visual ease.
  • Lets you view data online without the need for having access to the game.
What we need, to ensure all the data is accurate and up-to date is testers and character specialists that can give us additional knowledge for move properties so that when you click on Kotal Kahn's F2 for a punish, a D1 is not a recommended punish (it will have to be included in the results due to the coding but there will be a 'notes' section with the move indicating large pushback).

Are there any moves with incorrect frame data that needs further testing?

Does anyone wish to assist with testing questionable punish results?

What do you want to see in this resource for good functionality?

Also, if anyone has DLC and Shinnok and can help with the data entry of these characters that'd be great (I can't be fucked to finish story mode)

This should be finished and available in the next 2 weeks but the more help, the merrier.

I have been doing that from the time the game come out. I am ready with 11 characters( every variation). On my frame data you can see with colours what hits HIGH(red), Special HIGH(broun), MID(green), LOW(blue) ot OVERHEAD(yelow). You can see if the move has armor. You can see if the move is canceble or Knocks down , if Hits grounded opponent. You can see Start up, Hit and Block advantage (in red minus frames, yelow o advantage and green plus frames), Cancel advantage and Duration. I even puted the Brutalities, Fatalities input . I tested every single move in the game and compaired it to the frame data in the game. Many of those move had wrong info about the frame data.. I can send them to you and check them out, if you want. Just give me you e-adress.

Lol no surprises you love maths....
Having a list of all the frame data and matchup specific stuff like punishers, block pushback, armoured moves, hard knockdowns etc right in your pocket or online is undeniably better than a bunch of probably wrong data in the pause menu :D

I have access to these. Is there a Google Doc started somewhere? It may not be the best place for it to end up but is an easy way to start.

If there isn't I think the best way is for people to gather screenshots for the movelists and upload to Imgur (on Xbone double tap home and press Y)

I just wanna point out for the record leave Scorpion on hold for now, I double checked some more strings and specials and some are definitely incorrect as to what they're listed as in the pause menu.

Will be checking over Erron later.

I was going to do Scorpion later today.... for now we want to just get the data in so can you make notes on what you think are wrong and I'll highlight them for testing.
