yea they've edited games in past over there to turn blood green to make it less like your killing "humans".
i think they just have such a strong stance of violence in media because of...well...the unpleasantness that happened over there but the again the censorship on games is crazy in australia aswell

no, but older gtas (before 4) were banned. as i said, germany was getting less restrictive over the last years, also with gears 3, and now finally MK got the right treatment!

From what I understand, European countries seem to have a bigger stigma toward violence but are more lax on sexual things. Similar to how America has little to no issue with violence but sex is a huge no no.
