Normalize grab immunity.
There have been a few times I've seen notable players make a tier list with no explanation and then all this "discussion" happens. The only lists I've seen good plays post and people agree with is matchup tier lists.

Yomi's take the cake though for not actually posting tiers and ranking best to worst with no explanation or even putting down what variation.

Reading these threads sure is fun though.

What exactly do you guys think that makes Kitana, F/T, Kotal and Reptile being better than Mileena? I mean... I agree that she's low tier but she's better than those characters for sure.
I'll admit my Mileena knowledge is lacking but Kitana has safer & better footsies, really high damage, better zoning, better air to air conversions *They may actually be tied on this*, & Kitana has better defense.

I play Jax please tell me what he doesn't have enough of to be A tier? He is one of the stupidest characters in the game and I think #6 is even too low for him.
This is from a day one Jax main not me, but he said "in a game with so many safe 50/50s & insane pressure characters Jax actually invokes some thought to play. He becomes rather predictable after a certain point & his pressure isn't guranteed, it's a mind game. If you ever wanna to go to training I could show you better than I could tell you, but He's still a very good character. Except they put MK9 Jax in MKX without Ground Pound Setups.

She doesn't have better footsies, if anything, Mileena is better at that. I give her the damage. Better zoning too. both have good a to a conversions. Kitana doesn't have better defense, it's a tie as well.
Anyway, Mileena has true mix-ups and a better oki game.

What type of good liu kane players yah played to even put him at bottom tier like really?
What type of bad Jax player have you been playing to think this? This is absolute nonsense.

How can you attempt to apply some sort of logic to Liu Kang, and then completely disregard it when speaking of Jax? Dafuq?

I left this open to interpretation again, just a foundation, but question. How many Jax's have made top 8 at majors? Then compare that to the other A Tiers.

What would you suggest?
First I disagree on how all characters that have a MB Teleport move that attacks (besides Tanya now after the changes) get to have armor on wake up besides Mileena. It's not like my teleport is safe on block or anything. I get full punished for it whether you avoid or block it.

The next thing I feel needs addressing is her F3. How do you have a move that is 1st off 33 FRAMES (which makes it the slowest Overhead normal in the entire game) and 2nd doesn't do it's job of being a low crusher & can get beat out by low hitting attacks when she is clearly airborne. I also feel the ender of the string F3,4,3 should be an overhead to give her (if you somehow make your opponent block a F3) a meterless mixup because as a whole Mileena has NO MIXUP without meter.

Finally I feel that she needs safer frames on a lot of her strings. Mainly on the strings that have no mixup & are specifically used as poking tools. Right now her poking tools are either too slow or have no reach. It's made worse by all the negative frames she has.

This is my opinion on changes Mileena needs. @YOMI DJT @YOMI MITYEAP @YOMI REO @YOMI RM JagoBlake

You need to understand that this does not matter. This is not something that effects how good/bad a character is when determining their place within the context of the cast.

I remember when Killer Frost was top 5 despite never placing, by mostly the same logic.

Lol. This community is funny. No one wants to claim their character is good. That or those Ls hurt your pride too much if you play anyone not at least mid tier.

On another note, tier lists are only opinions. They can't be fact based because robot perfect players don't exist.

Opinions change. No real reason to get bent out of shape because a character takes a sharp rise or fall in a short time

i think that has something to do with the caliber of KF players that were present relative to other characters as well as the lesser number of KFs in the first place as well. Fewer KFs and fewer good Kfs still that travel surely has an impact, especially in a scene this small

That you did...what I'm doing differently this time is being as vocal as I can be that she sucks unlike Harley who I actually believed was way better than what she really was.
I tried that for Pyro Tanya but people just keep telling me to play Kobu. I don't wanna play kobu. I like fireballs and keep away. Can't do that anymore though.

Mileena has been getting her fixes and a few buffs but not what she needed yet. There might be 1/2 more patches. So good luck to you

I wholly agree with the MB Teleport, I don't complain much but this has been one of my biggest gripes since day 1. At least have armour on wakeup if not in every instance.

F3 I don't have much to say. Its been mentioned/debated in the Mileena forums since day 1 and I've reached the point where I'm fine with how it is. If it does get buffed then I wouldn't complain and appreciate the bonus. However, the issue with not escaping low moves while airborne does need to be fixed.

Some strings are safe with option selects but I do agree that some strings are too negative that your pressure essentially ends after one string. While normally I would think this is fair in a fighting game the way the game works right now, Mileena is a very fair character in an unfair game so I wouldn't mind that buff as well.
