I mean this is the Leatherface general discussion thread. For Leatherface players (or future players). So obviously we won't be talking about how much we want Predator to get a alt. But all the DLC characters deserve one, and it looks like they all will get one. Maybe. Hopefully.
Well I can't tell gameplay wise any variation differences between him other than the hammer, but it looks all three will have different masks. In the KP2 reveal, and in the gameplay trailer we see his first classic mask. Later in the gameplay trailer he has a brown mask, that looks like the one with the hammer (he also is wearing orange now, maybe player two colors?) and finally in XL trailer we see him butchering D'Vorah with his "Pretty Woman" mask. I'm assuming each mask represents a variation. He also is wearing a suit in the XL trailer but that looks like a alt costume more than a variation.
Spawn was fucked since the start. Todd said he gave Ed permission, Ed literally never remembered it. Save him for IGAU2. He would fit way more in that then MK. And in fighting game history? It's just a DLC character. I wouldn't put a guest as your most wanted character either. It almost never happens, but in this case, it did. Leatherface hype boys.
The mask is called Pretty Lady. That's what fans of the films call it anyway, and I imagine it will be the variation name. And yes that is makeup he is wearing. He wears it at the end of the first movie at the dinner table.

Not trying to sound like a dick or anything man, I wouldn't mind to see Spawn but I feel he fits Injustice more. I get he can be brutal, his comics feature gore and what not, but I think him being a comic book character, it would just feel right to have him in IGAU2 as DLC, and I am actually going to say it right now, he will be in that game. I mean out of all the fighting games in the world wouldn't this be the one to put Leatherface in? Putting him in IGAU wouldn't make any sense, but MKX makes perfect sense. Spawn was in Soul Caliber 2, and that wasn't a gore fest. Scorpion who obviously is in a brutal video game franchise was in Injustice. I would rather see Spawn in a game with Batman and Superman then Raiden and Johnny Cage. I feel he would just fit in more.
