I've actually run into this a few times with only Jacqui, but never recorded it previously. I'll record next time also

Just posted a status on what I think of the netcode so far but I'll repost here:

As for the netcode itself I'd give it a 7/10. I can land most combos but stuff like cancelling from the first hit of Takeda's F1(2+4) is pretty iffy and there's been more than a few rollback issues. I can anti-air and punish things pretty reliably though and do some other cancels like Heavy Weapons' but stuff like poking is still risky because of rollback and general onlineness lol.

I was playing A-List vs Pumped Up, my opponent was about to lose and I finished him with MB Nutpunch, using the bar with a slight delay; when the nutpunch connected the brutality music popped up but no brutality was shown, Johnny was still able to uppercut Jax.

It's probably a bug @colt

Also, in another match vs Jax, the sound effects where totally desynchronized from the animations

Came home from a session and finally got a code in my email... after I went through the effort of pulling the frame data I wanted from a friend's beta at the session lol

ok i got beta today and initial impression is it is going to be far better when it is finished . already is really if connections stay stable .

i played 4 different people .

1st and 2nd both had 52 ping and were stable in range of high 40s to low 60s looked and felt very smooth and responsive . even though i forgot to turn off release check and input shortcuts lol . 1st was decent to below average player and 2nd was brand new and had 0 knowledge of the game .
these sets was better than any matches i have played in current version .

3rd was the lowest estimated ping at 42 i was expecting perfection but i was wrong . when match started it was in 40s but then started fluctuating upward to the high 90s and into 100s and got the unstable warning a few times accompanied by stutters or skips which was actually very annoying , but in this set a few games were not as good as a similar connection on the old netcode .
one thing to note on the set about half the games were very good and in all the matches i always had my inputs come out as i put them in aside from 3 spike moments during unstable indicator that were not to much different then current version hiccups .

4th was estimated at 158 ping and made its way into the upper 200s with unstable symbol very often . the connection was horrible . teleporting , looks as if i hit him but after half a second or so it turns out i got hit , stutters , short freezes .
i stuck through a decent length set for the sake the beta . more often then not it was worse then current version . even with all the bad things happening the buttons did seem responsive but this was a case where disconnect which would happen in old version wouldve been best .
i sent a message to see how it was on their end and shared my side of my first poor experience ill add it in a edit to this if i get a response .

4th player was from brazil and im in canada gta so if they were wired the region lock should stay the same as current version if it doesnt improve over the course of beta .

i think they should give more options for after the match question then better idk or worse . i will give more next time i get to sit down with it but as of now i am really liking the new online and have high hopes for it even though every match wasnt better then good connections on old version it will only get better no doubt .

the change to +1 on fkmb is going to hurt if it sticks it feels neutral really that 1 frame makes i big difference .

fbrc doesnt seem different at all

i think iafb may have gotten easier to do across all variations .

couldnt test orb break bug because only stage is training room.

orb stop can still not be used as a special cancel in combo , i was hoping it would :(

yin heal is still horrible didnt seem faster at all and cancel out still has same window of watch both hands do a circle move needs deleted or redone to be worth anything more than a taunt .

dark buff sticking around after hit may really make dualist strong but i forgot to see if it stayed after ss to light , will be sure to try is next time .

No it won't, literally everything else will be the same. If they decide to stick with just this change and dont nerf anything else he'll still be top tier easily.

I'm testing the beta both in ps4 and xbox one. And, at least from an european perspective, I can say that the online still works MUCH better in ps4 than in xbox one.

Found more TYMers to play and the matches just won't stop being smooth! VGGs to @champdee , we played a really long set and it was great!
And good game do @zoofs? ...I guess? He went straight to Next Opponent after the very first match even though I was obliterated, so maybe the connection wasn't that good on his end. :confused: It was great on mine, though.

I played a couple of matches that were very laggy as well for the first time in the beta. Never had such problems before. Maybe it's the influx of new players joining the beta? I don't know, I guess that's not the case.

In any case, way more people have joined the beta, so I guess things will get more interesting this weekend. Hopefully it keeps being great!
