So for now, until the 1st of March, stick to the petition and hope for the best.
It would be great to be that optimistic but after this exact situation happened with the Last Gen ports (Refusing to acknowledge it until they scrapped it) most people already know what's happening here.
Fact is that if they had any plans for the PC version, they would've said "Soon". The only reason for not making some kind of announcement for it would be to avoid backlash but that ship has sailed.
I think that this is the biggest insult to most (Well to me at least). They haven't even had the decency to put out an Official Announcement. That shows a complete lack of respect for their consumers in general, not just the PC players. It shows that they do not care about anyone who isn't able/willing to give them more money and since PC isn't getting the DLC, why should they bother notifying them about the state of the game?

so NRS is behind canceling the pc Version ??? that makes me kinda sad , im one of those who watched the angry Joe vid and bought mkx on pc as i did with mk9 and mk3 . i would never buy a console because of monthly costs , stolen data affairs and capped Resolution.

plz add the netcode to fix mkx and to make it next gen , to be able to Play it in 2560 Pixels or 4k pixels Resolution and with a new netcode.

dont Forget pc owner not own fightsticks and Controllers we all extra bought them for mkx !!!

I don't think WB is all like "guys let's keep supporting this game on PC!" and NRS are the guys that wanted to cut it off. It's very hard to believe.

Fuckit, they probably won't be changing their minds (who knows) but it's time to start getting hyped about SFV. WB/NRS clearly don't give shit. They shouldn't even be associated with "AAA" gaming if this is the type of treatment they'll be giving a platform when it "underperforms".

Head over to reddit.com/r/StreetFighter and check out all the activity. SFV is sure to have a strong community that'll last for years, especially because of crossplay. And unlike NRS, Capcom are doing their beta tests before the game actually launches, not 9 months after. Now I don't wanna make it sound like I WOULDN'T get KP2 if it did happen to launch on PC because I definitely do love the game, but I'm also a big fan of SFV and the game is likely to still be going strong by the time NRS announces their next game. Sure SFV isn't MKX, but if you have even the slightest interest in fighters and dedicating countless hours to practice, then there's no reason not to join in.

I understand that this post comes off as some sort of salty rant but shit, NRS/WB swept the PC community under the rug and it won't be long before the MKX players on consoles completely forget what they did, not that they really have much reason to care anyways, that is unless you wanna get into some long-winded discussion about the MKX community as a whole. For now, NRS/WB are making Ubisoft/EA look like saints.

Hard to see mkx on consoles getting much more after xl. I mean, how much money can they make by supporting the competitive scene?
MKX will always be a great game to me even if I haven't played it in quite sometime, but a 6-year lifespan for SFV isn't far-fetched at all and I seriously don't think MKX can keep up. Console players should stop to consider what NRS/WB's decision means for them. Take some time to think where MKX where be about 6-8 months from now. There were already reports of console numbers dropping. SFV's playerbase is more likely to consist of gamers dedicated to fighters. While MKX does have its competitive scene, it also attracts casual gamers who don't play the game exclusively or dedicate countless hours to practice. A year from know, who knows what NRS will be announcing next. KP2's hype will have died out long before that. When they decide MKX isn't hot and profitable anymore, they'll undoubtedly begin work on their next project.

MKX had the luxury of releasing in 2015 with no other real fighting game competition. SFV is out within weeks and KI will bring in the new season. A strong community for MKX isn't a guaranteed thing one year from now. The PC is out of the picture already. The next step would be gradual discontinued support for consoles. MKX's future is not in good hands. Should that be a big deal? That depends on the player. If you play the game casually, it really doesn't matter. If you play competitively, things will start getting iffy in the future.

my english is not so good im from good old Germany, and that´s why i know console sux ass in countrys where mkx is banned.

for mk9 console was the worst Version for Germans because you coudnt buy the dlc. pc could at least buy only the komplete Edition if you wanted all stuff

The smart stuff!
"Elitist PC "gamers" can go eat a dick. NO MKXL for you! (Not yet anyhow)"
Everything wrong with this. Majority of PC gamers are not elitist. Well, I still hope we will get this kickstarter running and for sake of all the gamers out there (regardless of their chosen platform) we gonna make some noise about how low gaming industry has fallen. It seams like no law regulates gaming market and every sht is allowed.
And to all console elitists out there, let me remind you that WB/NRS did similar sht before and it hit a console (Injustice Wiiu version).

Again, the worst part about these people who act like this is they don't realize that fewer people playing a competitive game, is bad for the competitive scene and for the game itself. A game like MKX grows as its player base grows. Cutting out almost a million players from the competitive scene is like the game stabbing itself in the arm.

MKX is already set to live a short life after the KP2's hype wears down. I don't think that means the game is irrelevant cause it's still pretty damn fun and an awesome game, but in terms of competitive play, I don't have faith in NRS to keep the scene alive. They've pretty much demonstrated that they're willing to cut off support if need be, so the whole console wars shit is completely immature and seflish.

Those people don't care about seeing the game have a strong presence in the FGC. It's the same group of people that were furious when they found out KI was coming to PC. They didn't give a shit about the game being revitalized. Some of them made it straight-up clear that they wanted their Xbone purchases to be justified. Unfortunately, it doesn't really matter either way; NRS' silence gives me the impression that they're set on sticking to their decision. For now, we can only wait to see what happens with MKX a few months from now.

Good thing the Melee' community doesnt look at things that way.

Blind justice....
Wait what, they deleted Steam MK X forums? :)

But they continue to sell the game at Steam!

WB just enjoy shooting themselves. Also their greed knows no bound.
