you know whats strange- i got that same email just now when i checked if i had any other beta codes... it just came last night- i sent them my email days ago.. weird that they responded so late for me but same day for you...

well least it was worth a shot..

It was two days for me man.
Looks like I won't see any Kotal changes in less than 5 weeks.

I received my beta code Thursday or Friday night along with the rest of the first wave of PS4 guys, but due to a prior engagement was unable to really tear into it until tonight. I played a few games the night I received the code, but with max rollback, along with the fact that I am terrible with the initial four characters, I was not able to properly judge the Netcode, nor did I have the time or energy to do so.

Unfortuneately, spending an entire week off of MKX wreaked havoc on my execution, but for the first time in this game's lifespan I felt as though any matches I lost were due to the fact that I got outplayed by genuinely better players or tactics while playing online, without a shred of online unaccountability.

It brough a tear to my eye to go against the occasional Cryo Sub, accustomed to winning by scrubby online tactics without any knowledge about how the game actually works, and wreck that shit. Sub Zero's slide is now punishable online, guys!

Anyways, just chiming in to say that the future looks bright for this game w.r.t. Online. Incredible undertaking by NRS.

for psn i got it on day 1, i signed up a couple days before it was actually open and i got in the day i opened on psn, my friend did the same yet he doesnt have the beta. from what i can understand is, its very random on who gets in and who doesnt

How do u 1v1 other players in the beta? I thought it was just random. I'd like to challenge others.

I re-learned how to play mileena and picked up jacqui for the beta. I can only use SZ and scorpion so many times before i get bored lol

I did have matches with a player who's ping was about 240ms. It was smooth as butter. I'm excited for this to be released into the wild and the possibility of the region filter being lifted. Lobbies are gonna be insanely full.

Has anything happened to semi-unblockables? Among those chars already available only Takeda seems to habe this kind of cheapness, so I tag @aieches ! :)

Takeda still has his kunai set ups.. should be easier to jump out of online now, but really not much changed with takeda. least so far .

It is random. We just ended up playing together by happenstance.

Wired connection with open nat = can't get any games

Wireless connection on open nat = instantly get games.

This is on xbox. Not sure why it's happening. I've never had issues with the normal game wired on ps4.

Be careful if u fight any jacqui players who will get u with that infinite combo. Had one earlier and I was super annoyed. Guy thought he was cool and trash talking. Ugh. Then I got stuck in a scorpion vortex. I'm too tired for this stuff today lol

On PS4, I played a guy online from London. I'm in New Jersey. He said someone gave him a beta code, so I guess beta is NOT region-locked. Our connection was really great. No noticeable lag. I hope they remove the region-lock for the real game once the beta finishes.
