I got into the beta on PS4. Things I have noticed:

  • Gameplay is SUPER solid up to about 150ms. Then the rollbacks get pretty bad depending on how consistent the connection s. But for the most part, my games have been UBER playable super close to offline. KI/SFV good.
  • Simulate forwards can get a little annoying. i.3 - I see the first two frames and hear my attack connect, but they actually end up blocking it. You get used to this, and it does not feel like getting robbed.
    • What I mean, is that if I get my move blocked, but it simulated forward from hit animation to block, the flow does not change. They are able to poke just as they should. Just means I made a bad read on my part.
    • Additional benefit is this forced me to work on sharp confirms.
    • Getting hit by a sub b2 where they went from idle to 6f into the attack is a bit annoying. But this is really only an issue in bad connections.
  • Overall - it's 10000x better than MKX is in its current state. Well done. I play offline alot as well, and the feeling is damn close.
Question for you. I'm around ~60 ping and I get skips all day. Any way to remedy this? I heard the netcode is buggy right now though. Without the skips its near flawless and feels offline.

8 or 7 would be ok, 6 is too much. A character with the 50 50s and mixups mileena has should not have a free get out of pressure tool.

Only total defensive characters should get a 6f poke. If Kenshi does not get it I will go mad xD

Question for you. I'm around ~60 ping and I get skips all day. Any way to remedy this? I heard the netcode is buggy right now though. Without the skips its near flawless and feels offline.
You wired man cause if its bouncing around could be issue

What? You do realize Mileena's faster move was her unsafe ass roll right? Her D1 still has a bad hitbox (unless it got fixed) so yeah, she definitely needed that. Her 50/50's are mediocre.

It's debatable if they are mediocre, but in the end, they are 50/50s, and she has a decent offensive set of tools up close and far, so 6f d1 is too much, she should suffer under pressure.

Meanwhile, FC Cage has an 8 frame d1, 10 frame trash d3, 11 frame nerfed d4. That's only an example.

I'm not the only one that thinks Mileena doesn't need a 6f d1. Many Mileena players from here agree.

WUT. Are you talking about her slow ass f3 and f4? You realize you can just poke her out of f3 right? Or are you talking about her doing a string and ending with a low sai or EX Ball Roll? She needs stuff.

She doesnt need a 6f d1 imo, but even if she now has one the range is still pretty awful that unless they have increased the hitbox she will likely still whiff attacks than hit

I'm not saying she does not need stuff, but definitely not a 6f d1.
The point I'm trying to remark here is that there are variations out there that need stuff much more than she does, and they are most likely not going to get it xD Nrs nice criteria, but we shouldn't be surprised about this.

I think the hitbox needs to be fixed and brought down to 7-8 frames. Every scrub that doesn't know how to block or punish Mileena will only cry about her being overpowered if these changes are permanent.

D3 8 frames =) <3 stop anywhere in 123 for 6 frame d3 smooth love ya nrs!!! XD I will never complain again and haven't even looked at ethereal or rav yet lol! God bless nrs =)

Don't worry Mileena players, when Quan got his 6 frame D1 we had a lot of garbage armchair critics automatically assuming it had all the same bells and whistles of 6 frame D1s like Kotal/Shinnok/Lackey Torr's etc.

I don't have a problem with Mileena having one.
