Tempest MB Spin, no doubt about it.

7 frames, allowing him to punish all those tricky -7 and -8 moves in MKX.
Best AA in the game, punishes all jump ins and crossovers.
Leads to combo damage and ultimately, momentum.
Extends combos.
Armoured, meaning it can blow through gaps.
Can be used a viable wake up.
Has deceiving range.
Requires a character specific punish when blocked.

No contest.

6 frames, allowing her to punish all those pesky -6 -7 move in MKX.
A very good AA, punishes a lot of jump ins and crossovers.
Leads to combo damage and (depending on variation) 50/50s or hard to blockable missle set ups.
Armoured, meaning it can blow through gaps.
Can be used as a viable wake up.
Has shitty range.
Safe, unless in corner.

Aren't all punishes character specific punishes? That didn't make sense to me.

Yeah EX Flip I would rank number 1.

Also EX fade is a very strong Ex move: Safe wake up, best escape in the game, creates frame traps, makes Mileenas low safe, and you can whiff punish after its fast recovery.

Rather than just quick good moves why not other specials that are used for set ups? If other characters had ex caltrops from EB that'd be devastating.

Can't Ermac ex soul ball? That shit is nuts because it leads to full combo.

Cassie's EX flip still gets slided by SubZero and has a very small forward hitbox.

I'll say Tempest EX spin is the motherload of'em.

So...Cassie's ex flip kick being safe means nothing? I mean, if one of the tempest spin's advantages cited above is that it requires "character specific punishes," shouldn't the fact that Cassie's kick has no punishers count in its favor?

I'd also nominate Lao's ex spin in buzz-saw/hat trick. A top 5 ex move in the game IMO.

Isn't Tanya's multi hit special 2 hits of armor? Safe on hit/block AND launches? I would think that and Cassie's flip would take it hands down no?

Goro's punchwalk doesn't deserve to be on here. It's 15 frames, making it too slow to compete with the bullshit Cass flipkick and the consistency of Lao's spin.

i feel like Ex Klone would be beast if it handled right. so much potential. but i like the ones that give full juggles and get you TFO! so The power flip. I just hate that everything air wise with her take stamina. Ive seen even top 8 play where they run out of run lol. With that said most improved is Princess K's Rising Lift.
