  • Shinnok – Away + 3 (Shin Kick) is now towards + 4 and he has a new away + 3 (Devious Heel)
  • Shinnok – Can now enhance Hell Sparks & Hell Blast on block.
  • Shinnok (Impostor) – Now steals Dash Punch from Jax instead of Ground Pound.
  • Shinnok (Necromancer) – Can now control the location of Judgment Smash & Judgment Fist.

It finally happened. I'm so happy.

Too much recovery on the clone cancel. In some mud he has to block it or he gets hit.

All you idiots with the "no biggie, changes nothing"... Actually get good with the character before you talk.
But yet you're the one doing the crying.

How about you actually wait and see how this affects the character before you go crying in the car about how the world has come to an end?
 
Oh my god i have to press a different button that isnt block to make jump ins land on ice clone... also, not against everyone. Huge nerf!

People with far reaching JIP/JIK can literally jump at you all the time without fear of the clone catching them upon landing.

and Combo Breaker should use this patch anyway.
Well, apparently not all of it is fixed, since Scorpion's sweep is listed as +2 on block despite being very much punishable.

People with far reaching JIP/JIK can literally jump at you all the time without fear of the clone catching them upon landing.
Then try spacing the clone. Or, try blocking. Or backdashing. Or sliding under them.

Anything but throwing tantrums.

Can anyone tell me how all of this affects Necromancer Shinnok? That's the only variation I have interest in using.

Also thanks NRS for nerfing Grandmaster Sub Zero. Can't bear to see him on the same level or better than Scorpion, eh?
Well Hell Sparks being MBable and delayably MBable on block AND being +24 when MBd adds a mindgame and safe tool to all his variations although it still requires meter.
As for Necromancer specific, the DB1 unblockable and MB version can now be moved to wherever you want it like Shang Tsung's Up Skull.

I think my issue with ice clone nerf is that some moves had some seriously stupid hit/hurt boxes that could poke him through it and the clone staying on block was a way to counter advancing attacks and strings if they kept at it. Raiden's electric fly is probably the worst offender. How it can reach sub that far back and not get frozen is ridiculous.

Obv I need to test when i get home...but it's concerning. Should klone have been nerfed? sure. It was very OP in some cases. I'm just fearing this might have been overkill. Perhaps if they alter the hitboxes it would will fix things if it turns out it's bad now.

Ugh...I want to be in the lab right now...damn work.

if you could have blocked this theoretical jumpin it also means you could have backdashed it and kicked them back into the clone, or taken some damage and used db1x and knocked them back into the clone and depending on height gotten a juggle combo probly long enough to to drop another clone. but plz continue to flip the fuck out about some text and not actually playing things out.

A large amount of air moves in this game cannot be anti aired unless you have a good armoured move

His S1 is mediocre at best as an AA and EX ice burst is 20% dmg for a bar and the point is that the clone loses its basic function, someone like KL can freely jump at you

Him "just backdash"ing means that because of this ridiculous nerf he has to read a jump even when the clone is out because the clone DOESNT FUNCTION THE WAY IT SHOULD

Thanks. So I'm guessing the summoning fiend hand thing is still as bad as it is? What about the flick?

There was 1 kahn. That kahn was me. And kahn was by far the worst character in the top 8. People are going to level up soon and realize how bad he is in comparison to other people.
There were 2 Kahns that fought each other in top 8. If it was you, how do you not remember fighting another Kahn? It was on stream and it's also on the main results page.
