Doing an in depth stream every other week is killing the hype?

It's funny that people say NRS needs marketing help when they are like the biggest selling fighting game in the world.

Delaying gratification is the point. If you leave them wanting more they will salivate at any and every morsel you give them. The fact that people are going on and on about it is proof that the marketing is and has worked in the past.

I know right know and actually have a movie, web series that wasnt generic hollywood shit. Lol like other fighters.

That and I had to laugh at the post blaming nrs 'for leaks' when A. It wasnt their fault, and b. Its not like no other big game like mass effect, halo, cod or any other major franchise never had a leak before...

Some 'fans' are spoiled, i personally am grateful for nrs doing these streams, they dont have to do them yet make the time to.

Boon tweets more about rain than any other character...... Aaron black might not be in that "five" revealed list.. Rain could be playable instead while black is the npc. I also believe reiko and rain are playable and Sonya and jax are not.

Yeah Me too, that post wasnt aimed at you btw, but the people who like always complain constantly lol. I do think they talked with a big intro lasr time but i cant complain for seeing earlier reveals pretty badass!

He's not as polished as the other characters in that trailer. I think it's Johnny cage in disguise. The good out weighs the bad in the roster. Team Kotal is in (if you count erron black) meelina has her regime goro reiko and rain. Goro as we know is in how the comic is flowing I predict reiko will end up with the hammer and be in mkx.

I'm not against having jason as a guest character but I would prefer someone with more personality at least spawn could have really interesting variations and pre fight dialogue and stuff especially if they get keith david or maybe lance reddick

This info drought is really killing the hype machine. They need a lesson in marketing. They could have paid me a coke and a snickers bar and id have sold more preorders by now. Id have goro trailers, a calendar revealing a new charcater every few days, weekly casual gameplay, Predator hype teasers. Id have already set the record for sales with a month to go and there would be zero kollectors editions left to buy.

Ok maybe thats a bit much but def they should have had a Goro trailer by now. Preorders are what they are trying to sell right now so why not advertise the product?

Drought? We just had most of the remaining roster revealed, a story trailer that came with a lot of info, and a stream that showed the new brutalities and more stuff about the characters.

I agree that they would benefit from more in depth reveals and streams, but the content is there regardless. At one point the "drought" line held weight, but I don't really see what you guys want.

And MK sells more than any other fighter, I doubt they need help from someone who accepts coke and snickers as payment. Like I've said before, if you're not sold on the game by the time April 13th comes around, wait until you see it played on streams to make your decision.

what bothers me so much is the stuff that matters most is they are keeping quiet on. online play, character roster in main game or vague hints, vague comments about the dlc pack and preorder stuff. a lot of this was well aligned on their previous games. I mean, in the end the majority will buy it etc. but it makes me wonder if they were unable to deliver everything the wanted, or literally everything we've seen so far is literally playable in the game. sorta like the slow reveal of mk9 only for it to be everyone from mk1-3. I guess I just remember the intense excitement of armageddon and mk3 where they showed very little but told us. "every character is in the game". it was like OMG.
