Honorable mentions; Dantes Inferno, Resident Evil 5, Soul Calibur V, and Super Meatboy. I was tempted to post the Orange Box as one game, but I've come to learn those game have a lot more to offer on PC.

Here's my "good riddance, glad this console generation is finally over" list of crap:

1) Metroid: Other M- this game still gives me nightmares. If you like this game, you are wrong.
2) Call of Duty: All of them- every time I fire a rocket at a small picket fence and it does nothing, I lose hope in humanity.
3) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood- unless of course you enjoy 10 hour tutorials- in which case you'll love this
4) The Force Unleashed - Yay! 60 dollars for a 5 hour game!
5) The Force Unleashed 2- 60 dollars for a 4 hours game!
6) The Conduit- Poor Wii owners who had to settle for this crap as their "big shooter". Also, 3 hours.
7) Tekken 6- because Law.
8) Resident Evil 5,6,Raccoon City, Revelations (please, just kill this series)
9) Diablo III- this game is literally cancer.
10) Duke Nukem Forever: KILL IT WITH FIRE!

I don't get a lot of games but Halo 3 and MK9 have been the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had the past 4-5 years. I don't think any game can be as fun as Halo 3 was.

In no particular order, purely because I can't decide:

God of war 3- I've always been a fan of the GoW games and this was badass!

Uncharted trilogy- how can they not be in your top 10 if your on ps?

Red dead redemption- this needs no explanation

Mortal kombat- probably my favorite mk so far, I'm glad they went back to 2d

Tekken tag tournement 2- this game is the most fluid and balanced fighting game released to date

Far cry 3- I had a blast playing this game I'm pretty surprised no-one has mentioned this game yet

Skyrim- I don't even know how many hours I've put into this game

Injustice- despite its flaws it's a solid fighting game and I have a lot of fun playing it

Gta v- Trevor makes this game

The last of us- no words to explain how awesome this is!

i like all the dmc's save for 2, 2 was garbage, 1 was good, but just not very fast paced. 3 and above were my faves, including the reboot.

yeah 3 was superb,just picked up the hd collection.i never understood all the hate the reboot got,that game is really enjoyable.

people don't like it because they attempted to *modernize* DmC with a bunch of pop culture crap and cliche's and what not. Not to mention they changed dante, altho thats probably the dumbest one to complain about. The story i thought was alright, altho i kept getting the same feeling from it that i do when people mention Hunger Games, Immortal Instruments, and a bit to a lesser degree Twilight.

It's still difficult for me to digest that we have reached the next generation of the Playstation legacy. The moment I picked up my PS3, I had no idea about what would lie in store for me as far as actual adventures go, especially when living the life of a fighting game player. I'm grateful for having made the decision to grab a PS3.

I already chose to wait a bit after the launch date before nabbing a PS4 for myself, but I must admit, I'm finding it incredibly hard to exercise restraint. I guess my efforts to grab an Xbox360 will have to wait, if not be put on an indefinite hold.

Anyway...my top ten games in no particular order.

My personal favorite (top 10) PS3 games are as follows:

1. MK9 (what can I say, this is my favorite game of all time despite its flaws)
2. Gran Turismo 5 (amazingly deep driving simulator, especially with the DFGT wheel)
3. Metal Gear Solid 4 (Been a MGS guy since PS1 and this game pressed all the right fanboy buttons)
4. Bioshock Series (Art in video game form)
5. Wangan Midnight (Import) (fun import highway racing game that I like)
6. Initial D (Import) (fun mountain downhill drift racing game that I like)
7. Uncharted Series (high production values and beautiful environments)
8. Batman Arkham Series (Batman rocks and these games did him and his universe full justice)
9. Birds of Steel (PHENOMENAL and underrated WW2 flight/combat sim game. Too good to be a console flight sim and sadly not enough people know about or appreciate this gem of a game.)
10. IGAU (Not MK9 level of love on the latest NRS entry but I still have fun with it and support it).

lol yeah,I think it's kind of sad that people can't look past the different direction of the story and character design when the main thing that made dmc so great is the combo/combat system that is still there in all it's glory in the reboot.

That glitch happened to my brother on the bottom floor. I was all hyped for the dramaticness of that part and then that happened... lol. What a buzzkill.

The problem with the "newer" single player games are the MASSIVE QUANTITIES OF QUICK TIME EVENTS.... rather than actually letting ME TEH PLAYER do the fun shit.
man QTE's have got to mother fucking die.
