Unlike some people who thought +20 straight lasers on block, 0 recovery on straight laser, f23 being the ONLY normal in the game that hits jumping back and forward opponents from starting position

No, I think he meant men floating in spandex, IE, Superman, and Black Adam, the two most popular characters.

Float is a word used for juggle states, but in this context, it is more literal.

Hes making a joke that everyone in top 8 at WNF or any injustice tourney is always Superman and Black Adam.

They don't touch the ground because they float over it in the neutral pose.

If they nerfed Superman and Black Adam so hard no one ever used them again, it would be slightly more bearable to watch at least.
But I doubt they are going to get hit that hard, if they nerfed them too much, people would complain and quit.

On the other hand, I like Superman being top, its fun watching everyone get all super salty on the forums over it.

They're trying to hype this up like Capcom did with SFxT's huge omega insane game-changing update. Which isn't working well for them. This is just another typical patch update but with a larger amount of characters, SFxT's update was changes all across the board + HUGE changes to the gameplay. And even then, I'm almost certain we were given a date for that pretty close to the time they announced the update. Meanwhile, we only know 4 characters are getting touched out of the 30-so roster (we don't even know how superman or BA are being hit). We have no idea if all characters are going to have these tiny "tastes of upgrades" or just the ones that need them. Or a date for when this hits.

AND, we have TFC which is REALLY SOON. If they release this patch before TFC, people will flip their shit for obvious reasons. They seriously need to just hit Superman/Black Adam already and tell us when we can expect this patch so we can all rest easy.

Fall classic is this week, the patch will probably land on a Tuesday along with some skin packs, so no one really has to worry about that.

I don't think they would do any nerf teasing, people really don't like nerfs, and people would just complain at Boon on twitter about it. I mean they will anyway, but more then usually if he posted a pic of Superman with a bunch of nerfs and told everyone how awesome it is.

Superman mirrors are quite possibly the worst matches to watch in fighting games. There's a match from a Hazmat tournament on YouTube, and I literally wanted to dig my eyes out watching it. Comes down to who can land F23 and be more consistent with lasers.

The last one I saw was where the top 4 were all Superman players... I couldn't take it.

Even watching Krayzie's stream the other night, he picked Superman and I left and never looked back lol
