Rattlehead, let me say this, my understanding of the universe is as much as my understanding how talented you have to be to play this game on sound cue.
Btw, if i may ask one question, how do you know you are in the corner or not? Cause i can imagine it can be hard to forget during battle.

Edit:Im gonna edit this post cause when i reread my first sentense, well i dont understand that sentense myself.
Let me just say you are very talented.

Lol no worries. And, thanks a lot for thinking that way of me. In the end though I'm just like everyone else that just happens to be blind really.
As for your question, I mostly guess really because that's sometimes hard to tell. But if I'm the one putting someone on the corner, that's easier to tell because I know which attacks push the opponent far.

STRYKIE

Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!

Syknis

I found this, but don't know if it only shows my match with DJT or with Tirant as well.
You may have to fast forward to view the actual matches cuz the video starts since when they were helping me set up the headset.
Thanks Dude. Both matches are there. I'll add it to the OP with timestamps.

I'm actually interested in these audio games. I'm going to check some out. Any recommendations?
Well, depends on your preferences (there are even porn games). I can recommend any of the games you find here. If you scroll down some you'll find a first person shooter named "swamp" which is one of the most celebrated and popular games. Good thing is that it even has some basic graphics you can enable to help you get started because otherwise you won't get anywhere. The problem is almost all of those games are written by a single guy or maybe a team of two people and are free most of the time. So there are no blockbuster productions and that's why a lot of sight impaired people still often prefer mainstream games

Ah he beat me to it, but yes, Swamp is a first person shooter like he said and it's mostly focused on online play.
webreg I'm still impressed at the fact that you ar aware of these games and that you write software for set games on your free time.

Well I consider myself to be a science guy. I have a masters in computer engineering and I'm working on one in biological/evolutionary psychology. I'm interested in what makes stuff tick no matter if man or machine. One of my main field of interest is our perception of the material and immaterial world. In order to understand how we perceive our universe one must learn and understand how people experience their surrounding if one of their senses is missing. Since my day job prevents me from direct research in the field I have opted to use the internet with all its up- and downsides. Writing software to solve certain problems helps me to logically dissect and analyze a situation and understand most of it's implications. I have learned a lot of valuable lessons from my experiences so far.

Ah, that explains your understanding of auditory cues and how they can be utilized. And evolutionary psych? Nice. I have a bachelor's in General psychology myself and about to go for a masters in Rehab Counseling and music.

What kind of rehabilitation? I would naturally assume you are not talking about physical recovery because then you would study physiotherapy and not psychology. Mental trauma? Would make sense because you mentioned music along with it and sound is a very powerful tool to control the patient's mood for beneficial therapeutic effects.

Mental trama. And correct, I would like to work as a music therapist to use music as a motive for positive moods and behavior. However that's later on in my career though. Right now, I'm mostly focused on the social work aspect of it in order to assist those who have recently lost their sight and are coping with it.
