Has anybody else noticed this about Vicinity Blast?

As it is well known, Vicinity Blast misses certain characters with low hitboxes such as Reptile and Scorpion. So for example, if you do VB or 2, 2 ~ VB on Reptile VB will miss. However if you do d1 ~ VB or d3 ~ VB, the VB will connect.

Also, if you catch the opponent in a Shocker instead of doing 1 ~ VB you can do d1 ~ VB. It's easier to execute, at least for me, because 1 ~ VB requires you to do a quarter circle away instantly after the 1, while what I propose is inputed like so: d1, b2.

I've been doing D+3, VB as a poke for awhile now but the VB wiffs if they are crouching. You can just annoy them with down 3s then when you think they are gona jump add in VB and you will catch them airborne for a combo.

Right, it will wiff on anybody if they crouch, it hits High, after all. What I am saying is that this technique allows you to hit standing opponents with VB that you couldn't before.
