While I do agree, at the same time I can only agree to an extent. Saying "It could make them think twice" works on certain characters.
Raven? Sure, go for gold.
Batgirl? Why not.
WW? If she is chucking tiaras at you, sure then.
But against characters like Ares, Shazam, Zatanna and the like I can't begin to fathom why they would ever think twice about any charge that's farther than half screen. You don't full screen or half screen charge a Lex with mines out, no matter how many times you might make them think you'll still be losing out more often than not. You can make someone think with a lot of things, but hell, charge is a stretch. Saying "It's worked, and it hasn't worked" is very optimistic. "It has worked before, but usually doesn't" seems more accurate. Otherwise you can justify anything.
N.T.C.G.? 90% of the time its failed, but I can catch people sometimes randomly with it. "It's worked, and it hasn't worked".
No one is asking you to be a perfect Bane, and I'm not saying you're a bad Bane for doing it, but that doesn't mean that its a remotely good idea and defending it doesn't make it any less of a wrong idea. Sure it works sometimes, a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes. If it quits your fancy, do it, but its not going to do you any favours and that's what I'm trying to say. In MUs with people who have the option to not even be there when Bane is done running, or get a full punish while building free meter because of it, doing a charge isn't something that represent good MU knowledge when you have safer, better options that don't risk half a life bar and you getting put into cooldown with pressure on you just to make the opponent "think twice".
