Understanding FG jargon

So I noticed on TYM there's a lot of misconceptions about certain things. There's some confusion about negative edge, shortcuts, buffering, etc. Because of this, I decided to link a couple vids that explain these concepts very well. They're SF4 tutorial vids but they also apply to MK.

Negative edge and shortcuts (feel free to stop watching once he switches to dhalsim).

Input storing (not essential to watch) and buffering.

Double tapping, only really useful if you're a stick player. Part 1 also talks about p-linking(only on sf4), and other parts talk about pianoing and sliding (both of which are only useful if you're on stick, play lao and think his 21212 string is useful).

Chains, links and target combos. I recommend watching this to find out what they are. MK doesn't have any links (except for lao's 24 1+3 2/4). MK strings are just like sf chains/target combos. Feel free to stop watching after 2:00.
