TYM's 100 Must-See Movies

Pterodactyl

Plus on block.
American Beauty is a powerful movie, and it is a legitimate must watch.

It has so many possible meanings, most people interpret it differently.

It has a shallow deepness too it, and is also a bit meta.

A movie that makes you think.

That's my one.

The Thing(1982)...

...Alien/Aliens...

...and Predator are among the best Sci-Fi movies ever made, without a doubt.

They mix the feeling of awe, fear, wonder, and suspense so perfectly. They don't shove their antagonists down your throat, and their villains aren't truly villains, just apex predators who do what's natural for them.

Hopefully other Sci-Fi lovers will suggest them as well, so they too can be on this list.

Sinister-2012

I was really hesitated to watch this movie, because all my friends who saw it told me of how much nerve wrecking it is, so I was like 'No Ways I'm watching this movie'

So one day me and my two friends were at my place and we were thinking of which movie to watch, one of my friends suggested Sinister, he watched it before and he wanted to watch it again because he said it is that good (he is a big fan of horror movies), the other guy was like ya why not? and I was like HELL NO!!!!

But it was 2 against 1, so it was Sinister.

I won't lie, I was so nervous when it started playing, but then I saw that this movie is different than anything I saw, the freaky ways the cut scenes used to play, the twisted story, not to mention the nerve wrecking soundtrack.

When the movie ended, I was impressed, not to mention that I was happy that I finally saw it, and i really really liked it!

I would recommend this movie to any horror movie fans, cuz IMO it is a very well done movie.

-Alien (and Aliens.. both classics)

Films everyone else says you should watch, but I didn't understand at all:
