Hello everyone, this Zak from Final Fight Gaming El Paso. Now if you're asking yourself right now: "if you're from El Paso, why are you promoting a tournament in Las Cruces?" Well we at Final Fight are happy to let everyone know that we get to be a part of two amazing days of games and fun, thanks to the Las Cruces Game Knights at Las Cruces Game Convention. Not only do we hope to see some familiar faces from El Paso, but we also look forward to seeing new faces and new people from Las Cruces and hopefully beyond New Mexico for some tournaments that we will be running while we're there. The games that we will have for everyone will include: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Mortal Kombat XL on Friday. Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Killer Instinct, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and Street Fighter V on Saturday. Now here is what our schedule is going to be like for the entire Games Con weekend:

Every tournament for both days are B.Y.O.C (Bring Your Own Controller). We will NOT be providing controllers for people to use. Borrow from other players at your own risk.

Game Version: Playstation 3
Game Setting: Versus Mode, 3/5 rounds
Timer: 80 seconds
2/3 Games per match
Winner's, Loser's, and Grand Finals will be 3/5
Stage select will always be random
*Custom and alternate costumes in the game are not allowed

Mortal Kombat XL
Game Version: Playstation 4
Game Settings: Multiplayer, Player Vs Player, 2/3 Rounds
Timer: 90 seconds
2/3 Games per match
Winner's, Loser's, and Grand Finals: 3/5 games per match
If players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
*General MKX rule: The player who won must keep the same character and variation. Only the player who lost is allowed to change character and variation.

Banned Characters: Galactus, Jill, Shuma-Gorath
*Please note: you may not use any glitch that prevents the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, dead body infinites, etc.
*Also, no multiple characters on the same team.
*For character switching: the player who lost the previous game is allowed to change his/her characters in any order they like. The player who won the last game will not have be allowed to do this.
If players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
6:00 pm:
Street Fighter V rules:
Game version: US PlayStation 4
Game Settings: Versus Mode, 99 Seconds, 2/3 Rounds, No Handicap
Timer: 99 seconds
2/3 rounds per game
2/3 games per match
Winner's, Loser's, and Grand Finals will be 3/5 games per match.
*However if we manage to reach 40+ entries, we will change it to have the overall top 8 be 3/5 games per match.
*The Grid and Kazuki Beach are not allowed for stage selection.
If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select
General Rules:
The player who lost the last game played will have the option to change their character, team (Marvel 3) and variation (MKXL)
However, the player who won the last game played is required to keep the same character, team order (Marvel 3) and variation (MKXL)
1 Minute button check for both games
No Modded fightsticks or controller such as turbo etc.
If there's a malfunction from a stick or controller it will be settled by both players and the TO
Last but not least lets all enjoy two days worth of fun and excitement at Las Cruces Game Convention.
