Batmans d2 is now very good! Beats all jump in attacks (even his own j2).

Best combos I've found
d2 call bats j3 123 b23 release bats MB grapple j2 b23 35% 1 bar + trait
d2 j2 123 b23 23% meterless
d2 call bats b3 j3 b23 25% meterless (i could be wrong on this one)

So I'm trying to master this reset loop.

223 B3 JI3, B2 Grapple MB JI2 B2...

From here, I can either overhead (F3), low (B113), or attempt a combo into an overhead (113). Problem is, I'm worried about my opponent's hitstun after B2.

If you B113, you can do B2 into another Grapple MB.
If you F3, you can also B2 into another Grapple MB.
If you manage to 113 them, however, the combo begins anew. You just risk them catching on after the first two hits and blocking high.

I'm trying to find better meter-building links and something that's less risky to start the loop over.

I have a question. I main Batman mostly but sometimes I have a tough time with Doomsday, mainly online when people spam his Supernova move where he jumps in the air land on you. How can you avoid it since it's unblockable? Any tips?

You can forward dash it and get a full combo punish, which is not that hard with batman. Also if they are just spamming moves, then its most likely they cant block that well so just keep putting the pressure on them with batman and you should be fine.

You can forward dash it and get a full combo punish, which is not that hard with batman. Also if they are just spamming moves, then its most likely they cant block that well so just keep putting the pressure on them with batman and you should be fine.

Just depends on how the opponent is blocking...I just decide what's best...I do the 223 most tho cuz it's easiest to hit confirm
When I do a Bat Grapple MB loop, I worry about doing 223 since it's not overhead or low, so they can block either. 113, B113, or F3 can take care of that.

It's typically to punish blocked combos or after ji2. 113 is easily punished before 3 with a d1...F3 is easy to punish on block too lol you can't really nitpick too much

B2 is such an amazing normal to use inside combos.

Well damn, that doesn't leave me a lot of options for a loop, does it?

So any new bnbs out lately? I'm looking for something that doesn't go into B3, as well as a better starter. 113 can be block-punished, 223 is good but is neither low or overhead, and B113 has very short range. Basically, I'm looking for more and better approach options as Batman, as well as how to protect your bats.

f3 is plus on block, no one is punishing that and in most cases its a free b23 or 123 in the corner

223 is interruptable after the first 2, its pretty much his worst string unless by some miracle your opponent manages to block 22 high in which then you are plus 8 for a free b112/3 but that will happen rarely.

123 is his best string.

After i get the standing reset i have 2 options. B11 bats ji2 or b11 bats b112. Can i do b11 bats into f3?
b11 bats you have to be careful. A follow up b11 can be blown up by certain characters if they crouch low because the second b1(1) will whiff allowing you to be full combo punished.

You can do b11 bats into f3, its very very good.

b11 bats into a cross over j2 do at your own risk now with the d2 buffs

123, b2~cb, b23, rb, The Dark Knight

The trick is release bats right when the explosion happens from b23 and do the Special Move RIGHT BEFORE the last of the 3 bats hit
