An example of the vast reach Mortal Kombat has in the world was recently shown in a professional Asian soccer championship. This championship took place in Saudi Arabia and the crowd performs a stunning display of Mortal Kombat-inspired choreography showing off the iconic character Sub-Zero within the audience.

This soccer match was between teams Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Persepolis F.C. of Iran. Fans would then showcase the words "FINISH'EM" imploring the team Al Hilal to "FINISH" team, Persepolis.
